Gifts. Shrewd. Sweet and sour. It is a sake for New Year's toast, but I am the only one in the family who drinks it, so I finish 500 ml of this with my festive meal. Polishing ratio 65%, 12% alcohol.
This is a winter-only, cold brewed sake.
The alcohol content is high (19%) because it is a nama sake (not watered down), and both the aroma and taste are powerful (the aroma is stronger, more like chocolate than fruit). It is clean and dry, but also has a rich and thick taste with a sharp aftertaste.
I will have Senju for New Year's, which I had never had before. I can tell that it is light and certainly does not interfere with food. I rarely drink sake at home these days, as there are no stores near my house that carry special sake.

The first drink of the New Year is Manju, the same as last year 🤗 It is my favorite sake, but I drink it only once a year (I can't drink it 🤣), so I enjoy it in a bottle on New Year's. It's still delicious 😋.
