Kubota's nigori sake will be available in February 2022. A relatively new lineup.
Nigori sake has a strong image of "thick, thick sake," but Kubota has made it light, smooth, refreshing, and easy to drink.
I was impressed by the sake brewer's efforts to try new flavors while preserving the traditional taste.
I can only purchase a small amount of sake in this way, but I want to believe that this will be some kind of support. I will always support them.
We drank it at the Kubota Afternoon Tea held at Nishikisui Ryotei at Hotel Chinzanso.
There were three kinds of Kubota: Senju Ginjo-Nama Nama Sake, Manju, and Manju with its own yeast.
Of the three, the in-house yeast brewed sake had an outstanding taste and aroma. It was a pity that I could drink only a little of them since it was a sake comparison.
It goes in easily, and the spiciness comes in crispy, but you can also feel its depth. For those who like spiciness, this is a dish that can be enjoyed anytime, even if you order "this for the time being.
Green apple lemon smell.
Like juice, juicy and fruity, lovely acidity, upwardly sweet. Light sweetness, with a subtle texture of rice powder, clean aftertaste and a bit of amazake. Like honey lemon. Delicious.
Day 3. Pineapple, lactobacillus taste changes.
Aftertaste is Yakult, sweet sake. Concentrated juice with flavor. Dangerous to drink without guilt.

It's not fruity but sweetness of rice, just like I imagined Niigata sake 😋.
The sweetness spreads in the mouth at first, but it goes in smoothly and easily.
It was perfect with the sashimi and sushi we bought, and is a well-balanced sake that is better as a mealtime sake than as a stand-alone sake 🤩.
