This is the second of the three bottles I bought at the supermarket the other day. This is the first time I've had this brewery. I was wondering why there was only one bottle left at the store, but I was curious, and I was going to buy one bottle of Eikoh, but I picked it up. It's sweet but easy to drink ☺️.

National Sake Fair 2025 part57 Akita Prefecture 2 Akita Meikozo in Yuzawa City Akita's major sake brewing company along with Takashimizu in Akita, which also runs commercials in the Tohoku region. In the past, Sayuri Yoshinaga and Hiromi Tanigawa appeared in their commercials as image characters. I bought a bottle of their Hakuman no Hyakudasake at Yamaya before and it was delicious, so my expectations for this sake are high just because it's called "Hakuman no Hyakudasake" 😆. It seems to read "Tamakine" in Japanese. The series using rice grown in their own rice paddies is called "Kannoin" (環稲). According to the official website, besides Momota, they also have Ippozumi in their lineup! Polishing ratio 40%, Momota 15-16%, 2475 yen Sweet, tasty, fruity, and delicious 😋. It was as good as I expected, but I only see the standard junmai sake and the ones in aluminum cans, so it would be nice to be able to buy the nama sake and other products of this kind in the Kansai area 🤔.

Very mild flavored. In my opinion, maybe not a good match for Yakitori. So far, I’m a bit disappointed with Ranman. The three that I tried tonight all have been “low impact”. I’ll have to try Ranman a different day with different food.

The sake is made by Akita Meizou in Akita Prefecture, and the rice used is Akita's new sake rice, Momota. When opened, the sake was easy to drink, with a gaseous feeling typical of sake, and a sweet flavor like that of ramen.

I was a sake beginner, I started to learn about sake, but I didn't know what basic sake (the kind you can find anywhere for 600-700 yen a sake) was, so I drank it. I drank it lukewarm because it was recommended to be lukewarm. This is the sake that goes straight to the nose! This is exactly the image I had in mind for sake! But it tastes easy to drink! I personally found it easier to drink when the lukewarm sake returned to room temperature. If you don't like the "tsun" of sake, you can drink it cold! I guess cold sake is easier to drink for those who don't like the "tsun" of sake.

Most cup sake in Akita is 200ml. It is a sake that can be heated up and drunk continuously. It is my favorite type of sake. And the lottery for winning another bottle is fun, isn't it 😀 Unfortunately, I didn't win. Unfortunately, I didn't win, but it was fun and I'd like to buy another bottle.
