Yesterday, after arriving in Hirosaki, I went to the Iwakisan area!
It was stormy weather, so we had to make a quick change from our city tour. However, the mysterious and magnificent Iwakisan shrine and the outstanding quality and pleasantness of the Momosawa Onsen & Utaki Onsen hot springs were captivating. ☺️
And on this day, we stocked up at the local supermarket and drank at the hotel.
We started with "Kanman".
When I opened the bottle, I could smell the sweet aroma of sugarcane. Then I smelled sulfur from my hand (♨️).
It is smooth and light. The cleanness comes from a hint of acidity. It is easy to drink, with a slight hint of sweetness and astringency, but it disappears without a hitch.
It was so delicious that I could understand why I had seen it in almost 90% of the supermarkets and souvenir shops I had visited so far!
Today we are going north from Akita to Hirosaki!
Departing with an Akita dog in Halloween costume seeing me off 🐶.
I enjoyed the express trip with a can of aged sake, which you don't see very often!
Caramel-like sweet and burnt aroma.
The mouthfeel is round and smooth. The mouth is round and smooth, with a dense flavor that is typical of aged sake.
The sweet astringency with a sense of tortoiseshell rain and caramel, and the punch and sharpness of the spicy acidity that comes later. The taste is well balanced and balanced, with no hint of dullness.
As with the other wines of yesterday, it was a delicious wine with a deep flavor and a sense of transparency at its core👍.
We were able to enjoy our trip to Akita to our heart's content, even though it was short. I am looking forward to opening my Akita sake souvenirs!
HARUMAN Junmai Ginjo Hiyoroshi
The acidity comes quickly and disappears as you swallow.
The alcohol taste lingers on the tongue, but it's not unpleasant.
I don't think it has a very strong character. Maybe it's just that my tongue doesn't understand the details.
During a business trip to Akita (8)
Snow Kayasha Yamahai Junmai
→I forgot to take a picture of outside drinking, so I borrowed it.
Bishu blanc Man Moe Ina →Drinking at the hotel
Good evening 😃
I was looking forward to drinking out in Akita on a business trip 😆.
I forgot to take a picture and my memory of what I drank has faded 💦.
I remember the first one I had, the Snow Kayasha Yamahai Junmai, perfectly: ❗️
I don't remember much about the taste but it didn't taste too much like Yamahai, it was refreshing and had a bit of richness and acidity.......................no luck 😔.
All I remember is that it was delicious😅
Another one I bought at the supermarket...
The brand name and green label caught my attention and I picked it up when I noticed it lol.
And it was also a high quality sake with a good balance of tasty acidity and sharpness 😋.
I think it was about 400 yen... I think it was about 400 yen...
Reasonable price for 4 one-cup bottles, and all delicious ❗️
Akita is a great place for sake drinkers❗️Saiko❗️
Akita Business Trip (7) (Resumption)
Back to Akita after the Obon holidays...
Three weeks long course................................................exhausted 😮💨
Various things happened during my business trip...
The road in front of the hotel was flooded by heavy rain. ❗️
My colleague saw a bear ❗️
And beautiful sake❗️
And so on and so on!
Work was... tough, but I'd like to forget it, so I'll leave it out.
Summer in Akita... the air was fresh and comfortable.
The mornings and evenings were so cool that I didn't need air conditioning.
Here's the first thing!
Bishu Blossoming in the hotel room!
100% Akita Komachi
Let's see...
Gentle and watery on the palate.
After a while, it has a gentle sweetness and umami.
Elegant and easy to drink!
I would recommend drinking it on its own while relaxing in the evening breeze.
I got this at a nearby supermarket.
You can pop in and enjoy all the delicious and reasonably priced sakes!
Akita sake is really amazing ❗️
We are happy to have found good sake again 😊.
More to come on my Akita business trip 😃.
Hello, Shin-kun 😃.
Were you in Akita again? Three weeks is a long time ‼️ and you had a lot of ☔️🐻🍶 😅
Of course I'd rather meet a good sake than a bear 😆.
I'm looking forward to your delicious sake series in Akita 👋
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 😃I was there again, sake delicious prefecture ❗️ no, no, Akita prefecture 😅I was also in Akita prefecture 😅Watch out for bears 🐻 but I was still active in sake 😊 Please check out my Akita sake post again when you are free 😊.
Bishu Ranman. I bought this in Kakunodate, Akita. The explanation was that it is only available locally, but I don't think you can find this label in the Kanto region. It is beautiful and light. It is easy to drink. It has a good flavor and a bit of bitterness. The bitterness is a little characteristic. It is unique and delicious. I like it!
Good morning, Breadfan!
Kakunodate is a place I remember stopping by on my honeymoon✨.
I have the impression that Akita has a lot of really great sake 🎵.
I don't see many sake from Akita Meinoho, but I'm intrigued 😊.
Thank you for your comment, ma-ki. It is wonderful that you stopped by Kakunodate on your honeymoon. Kakunodate is a nice place, isn't it? We only had a short stopover there this time, so we would love to go back.
I enjoyed reading ma-ki's report on Akita sake. Let's enjoy sake together!
Slightly sweet with a light sizzling flavor.
It is refreshing and leaves no aftertaste.
Delicious!
Moreover, I think the price of "HARAMAN" sake is very cheap!
I can drink this taste at this price... it's good!
At the Japanese Sake Festival
It has a sweet-tart flavor with a dumpling feel, a light oli like rice flour, and a lactic acid beverage-like flavor with a slight alcohol taste...but it's not the same as the sweet and sour taste of Sanuki Kuraudai.
It is classified as a liqueur due to the addition of sugar. It was a bit sweet, so I drank it lightly on the rocks 😚.
Good evening, T.KISO 🐥.
I missed T.KISO's review of Seoto 🫢I wish I could have tried Calpis Soda... 😫The manufacturer's website also recommends Seoto Sour! You know what you're talking about!
