Tasting at Keihan Department Store Kuzuha Mall.
I knew that the sake section had been expanded, but I was surprised to see some brands I had never seen before.
This time, the tasting was "Blazing Man".
Blumann Junmai Daiginjyo Kaname Momota Brewing.
The name "Kanno" is difficult to read, and is pronounced "tamakine.
The aroma is a little gorgeous, and the taste is balanced with a good amount of acidity and umami.
Blum Blum Blum Junmai Daiginjo Kaname Ippozumi Brewing
It also has a good amount of acidity and is refreshing, but it has a sweet and umami taste. I prefer this one.
Blum Blum Blum Junmai Moe Ina Momota Brewing
Moeina is also difficult to find, but it is called "Monet".
The Junmai is better, with a fuller, richer aroma and flavor.
Blum Blum Blum Junmai Moe Ina Ichihozumi Brewing
This one is slightly sweet with a slightly refreshing aftertaste, also delicious.
I think I prefer the Junmai. If I had to choose between Momota and Ippozumi, I prefer Momota.
Preference 75%.
Color Light brown
Nose: At first, you can smell a little maturing aroma from the nose, but the aroma becomes quite strong and assertive on the palate.
Taste: Sweet on the palate, with a slight bitterness and sourness as the mouth aroma becomes stronger and more assertive. The alcohol is not harsh, but it is thick and rich.
Overall impression: It is not suitable for drinking alone, but as a food sake, I think it goes well with a wide range of food. At any rate, it goes well with sashimi. It may be too much for light white fish.
This is the first time I've ever had a "blazing man" sake.
The sake rice is called Hyakuden, which is a recently developed rice (🌾), and this is also a first for me.
The initial aroma is slightly sweet.
In the mouth, it has a slight umami of rice with a slight spiciness that finishes off the taste.
Slightly spicy.
Delicious!
Good evening, Mr. Matsuchiyo.
The label is different, but I drank a draft of 爛漫百田 at Yamaya and was surprised at how much better it tasted than I expected 😁.
I was surprised that it was better than I expected 🤔.
Also. At the antenna store.
Sour and refreshing.
After the cold taste of the can, the flavor spreads softly.
After a while, when the temperature rises, the aroma and sweetness become stronger and you can enjoy the changes. It is very easy to drink.
Souvenir from my brother who came to Akita prefecture to play with a camper ( ^ω^ )
He bought it because he liked the naming of it.
As you could imagine from the brand name and the label, the aroma is distinctive.
From the aroma alone, I could tell that it was dry and had a high sake content.
The taste is dry and very sharp.
Akita Prefecture has a lot of really good sake!
Canned Comparison of "Ichihodzumi" and "Momota" Junmai Sake Cultivated in the Company's Own Rice Fields. Ichihodzumi is so light that it is hard to believe it is an Akita sake.
It is very light. Is it more of the mother's Koshi-tanrei gene?
On the other hand, Momota is a gorgeous sake with an assertive aroma, with both parents using Yamada-Nishiki. They are completely different types of the same brand.
