First time visiting a liquor store.
I bought a bottle of ginjo-shu made with black malted rice, wondering what it was like.
I found out that it is the same malt used to brew shochu (distilled spirit).
The aroma is sweet and fruity with a hint of ginjo 😄.
It has a slightly tingling sensation, the delicious taste of rice can be detected, and the refreshing acidity reminds me of apple 🍎.
It goes down the throat and is refreshingly clean and crisp. 👍✌️
Purchased at Maruchikura
They say it is only for New Year's, so it is not usually available.
Sake from Fukuoka. Good aroma. The taste is mild. It is delicious.
Fukuoka has an image of shochu, but actually sake is also delicious. I remember now. Fukuoka was the top place to live in Japan, surpassing Otaru.
A cup of sake I encountered at &SAKE FUKUOKA, an event that brought together sake breweries in Fukuoka Prefecture.
Ikegame Shuzo's "Kurokabuto" is a rare junmai ginjo-shu made with black malted rice used for shochu (distilled spirit).
We had the standard junmai ginjo this time, but there were many others we wanted to try, including wine barrel-aged and rosé-colored sake.
