I tasted the Kurokabuto draft at my favorite liquor store and liked the umami that comes with a gusto rather than the spread of black koji, but they did not have it, so I purchased this fire-aged version.
It has a spreading flavor, and I think you can enjoy the fun of black koji more when it is cooled than when it is cooled to the brim. It is delicious.

This sake is brewed with black malted rice from shochu.
It has a strawberry-like aroma, and in the mouth it has a gentle sweetness like pears and apples.
It has a gentle sweetness like pear or apple on the palate, yet it has a strong alcoholic taste and is very drinkable.
Every time I think, this label is so cool, I'm drawn to it first.
This time, it's soft to the taste, but when you swallow it, it's really spicy!
Too delicious!
I have to work tomorrow, but I had a proper dinner: 🙆🏿♀️

Hints of apple and pear. Sourness. Aroma of richness. A little bit of umami. But light. 86 points

A rare sake brewed with black malted rice. It is mellow and has a nice sharp aftertaste, but a little sweetness remains. The aroma does not stand up that well...7.5/10
