I've been interested in Fukuoka sake lately and have been buying a lot of it.
This is my first time in Ikegame🐢.
First day of drinking
The first aroma is sweet with a hint of sweetness.
It is bitter in the mouth... 🥹.
I can only taste a little bit of umami and sweetness behind the bitterness... 🥲.
I decided to leave it for a few days anyway.
On the third day, I drank it with trepidation and found that the bitterness that was so bitter had somehow disappeared.
Was it because I was sick? 🤔
The first aroma is faintly sweet.
When you put it in your mouth, you can feel a light sweetness with umami flavor, and it goes down smoothly and cleanly.
It was a delicious sake with a clean and clear taste for a low 75% rice polished sake.
I would like to try Kurokabuto next, but I guess that is impossible in Tokyo.
I heard the line of Abe no Seimei played by Yusuke Santamaria "The stars of Shibi En no Tenpou are shining stronger than ever" right after the first episode of this year's historical drama "Hikaru Kimi he"... I thought "Oh, I have to drink Kanpokuto" 🙄 and opened the bottle.
(It was recorded last Tuesday 😅)
The top aroma is sweet with a hint of coolness.
When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the refreshing acidity (white malted rice?) and the umami flavor. The sweetness is refreshing with a touch of umami.
It is a modern dry sake with a sake degree of plus 7, but you can enjoy it by itself without getting tired of drinking it.
It is hard to find a store that sells it in Tokyo, but I would like to try other Kanpokuto.

Aoyama Mikawaya is a small private store right outside the exit of Omotesando station, but only one side of the refrigerator is austere choice ☺️
The reason is that it is not possible to use a specific name if the rice is out of the category.
It is treated as a regular sake even though it is a Junmai sake.
Therefore, it is the strongest sake in terms of price even though it uses Omachi.
You can feel the full flavor of Omachi.

Junmai sake that you can drink easily.

First Kyushu sake.
At a liquor store near my office.
The label says that this is the only place in Tokyo that carries it, so I bought it.
As the name "super dry" suggests.
It goes down the throat easily and smoothly.
The acidity is low, and at the end, the rice flavor is faintly fragrant.
I found myself finishing a whole bottle.
