This sake is from a brewery in Takehara City, Hiroshima Prefecture. This is probably my first time. The name also attracted me. It has a fruity ginjo aroma. Let's drink it! The aroma is very strong. It seems to pass through to the nose.
It has a sake rating of +3, but I think it is drier than that. It has a moderate acidity and is a perfect sake to accompany long autumn nights! Now I want to try another brand: ‼️
▼ Description
The refreshing ginjo aroma is elegantly expressed, and while it has a clean mouthfeel, the aging process has broadened the flavor and brought out the characteristics of Hachitan-Nishiki to the fullest. The balance of sweetness, umami, acidity, and a hint of bitterness creates a refreshing finish.
It went well with warm "tanuki-yakko" (^^)
Sake that is soft to the palate but has a crisp, dry feel.
It may be much more refreshing for sweet and floral lovers...!
It would go well with strong-flavored Japanese or Western food.
Slightly creamy and sweet aroma
Slightly thick, soft, and full-bodied.
and full-bodied mouthfeel
Slightly bitter with a hint of acidity
This was also bought in Takehara City.
By the way, I drank it at about 10 degrees Celsius.
The label says it can be heated up, so I'll give it a try 😁.
I'm having my second cup of coffee today 🍶.
I knew of Nakao Brewery because I love Seikagami, but where else would I find it? I was pleasantly surprised to find it in a local supermarket ✨.
I almost screamed and quietly put it in my basket as an adult!
Today's bottle was opened 👏.
Delicious!
It has a quirky mouthfeel with a nice sharpness. I like it.
Hi Mia 😃
I was in Hiroshima last year and the first sake 🍶 I drank outside was a phantom 🤗.
I'm a mature person who doesn't make a fuss when I see a phantom 😄.
4.25/5
Bright, medium-light, and full of flavour. Cantaloupe, pear, honeysuckle, almond.
Big flavourful melon, with a nice light and floral fruitiness. Feels slightly sweet at first, but it’s overall on the dry side, especially once paired with food. The finish is meaty and slightly savoury, but overall refreshing.
Went well with a 散らし丼 and 納豆巻.
