Gotenzakura doburoku, which my father somehow bought on Amazon.com.
I remember drinking (or eating?) doburoku like porridge last year, but I can't remember the brand. I remember drinking (or eating?) doburoku like porridge last year, but I can't remember the brand...it's been a long time since then.
The initial aroma is faintly sweet with a hint of koji malt.
In the mouth, there is a slight sourness like plain yogurt and a slight sweetness of rice.
I was able to drink it quite refreshingly while chewing on the rice.
I guess it's like a sweet sake with a lot of sake lees, but with much less sweetness.
It was delicious ✨.
In Tokushima.
Salty, soft and sweet on the palate.
I thought it was a fruity taste like kiwi.
It has a little bit of a tangy taste, but it doesn't linger, so it's easy to drink.
Still, it is easy to drink because there is no aftertaste.
It is delicious on its own.
It doesn't clash with white sashimi.
My companion, who is not accustomed to drinking sake, drank it without any resistance.
The first day I opened the package, I remember drinking it with Nara-zuke (pickles).
After about a week, it became too peculiar and hard to drink. It smells like rice bran.
Saito Shuzo's Nara-zuke is delicious, but
Visit to the brewery.
Sake made by irradiating LEDs to change the yeast, this one seems to have a stronger aroma.
It had a fruity aroma and a gentle flavor pressed in a tank, and was delicious.
Part 2.
The old wine I was looking for.
There was another 7 years old one, but I chose this one.
Another type of sake.
The aftertaste is refreshing, similar to Gotenzakura.
It has a rich umami flavor and enough depth.
And yet, it is crisp and clean.
Oh, I want to try a longer aged one next time I go there.
We walked around Tokushima Prefecture by bicycle to visit two sake breweries.
At Seitama Sake Brewery, there was no sake available, so we could not buy any.
I was able to buy it here.
It is a sake made from Tokushima yeast.
This was a surprise.
It has a modern fruity taste.
And yet, there is no dullness at all.
Everything disappears the moment you finish it.
It's extremely tasty. You can drink it all the time.
🌸Celebrate 🌸the conquest of the 47 prefectures!
I started Sake-no-wa at the end of 2020, and in a little over a year, I've checked in 300 times, and this time I've conquered all the prefectures!
The last one is a one-cup of Gotenzakura doburoku from Tokushima Prefecture.
Tokushima's sake is rarely seen in Tokyo, so I got it at an antenna store in Ginza, and it was a cup of doburoku.
The low-alcoholic doburoku, which still had the shape of rice, had a sweet taste of rice in the aroma and mouthfeel, but it was a bottle with a clean and crisp taste!
Rice polishing ratio: Undisclosed
Alcohol content: 12%.
kumakichi, congrats on your decision!
Congratulations on winning the national championship ㊗️🎉.
It's not easy 💦.
I'll try my best to conquer the country without getting popped 😁.
Kumakichi, congratulations 🎉㊗️ for winning the national championship 😊, you were fast at the end 😀, I'm one step closer myself, I'll get there eventually 😊.
Erin, good evening! It was a good experience for me, although my favorite sake is not available all over the country, so it was not a good fit. I relied on the antenna store, but I would like to continue to enjoy sake from all over the country.
Harry Sakeboy Good evening! I think I enjoyed the excellent sake from all over the country, although I had to resort to the antenna store at the end of the day for one color. I will continue to refer to your post for sake recommendations.
Congratulations Kumakichi on winning the national championship ㊗️.
Especially Okinawa and Miyazaki are tough 😭
I'm having trouble filling Miyazaki 🤣.
Let's keep drinking lots of good sake 😆.
Hello, Manachie! Thank you for your message. I couldn't quite fill Miyazaki and Tokushima, so I came to the antenna stores in Shinjuku and Ginza. If I could, I would have visited a local izakaya if it was nearby.
This is a hit!
So refreshing and delicious on a sunny, warm day like today!
Definitely a handsome drink I'd like to have again.
Tokushima is doing it...
I have nothing to say about it, it's delicious! In addition to the weight of the original sake, it has a good balance of sweetness, cleanness, and richness. It goes well with all kinds of snacks and is a hidden gem. Today we enjoyed it with swordfish and aqua pazza.
I took a day off from work today and had a picnic 😀.
I heated up some doburoku and put it in a bottle.
I'm going out.
The cold weather makes the muddy wine taste better.
It's a good mix of sour and sweet flavors.
The picnic destination is a hot place😊.
Harry Sakeboy, good one👍.
I like sumo too, last time I went to a sumo tournament was when it was a technical review tournament. The last time I went was when Asashoryu was Yokozuna.
Yokozuna and Ontake are in the final stages of the tournament alongside each other❗️.
Mr. Hiratcho, it used to be difficult to get tickets, but thanks to the Corona disaster? But now, thanks to the Corona disaster, you can get a seat. It's getting interesting at the end of the day, I saw a lot of Ontake-kai supporters from Shinshu yesterday 😀 .
