Here is one from a week ago Sunday😅.
We came back from Chiba after my father's birthday party 🎊! We were a little tired 😔 and not so hungry... so we decided to have a light drink 🤗.
We bought some sashimi at the supermarket and had a light meal of tsukudani (food boiled in soy sauce and soy sauce) and cauliflower, etc. that my sister gave us.
Jay says, "I know it's good even before I drink it 😙," says Mr. Tsuneyama: ‼️
We were looking forward to drinking it because it was delicious the first time we drank it at the beginning of this year and because of all the positive reviews we saw on Sake-no-Wa 😋.
I'll make love to you
The aroma is fruity and apple-y.
One sip and yes it came out! Yum meh 😍.
It's not so much dry as it is slightly carbonated and has a clear, clean flavor and a pleasant acidity that will blow away your fatigue 😙.
The best part is that it has a great sharpness👍!
I hope everyone will try this one!
Fly away ‼️🤣
It was really good 😋😋.
By the way, the next day I gave my father the pink sweatshirt that was my birthday present 🎁, and he was really happy 😄 He said he was going to try it on now, which is rare for him! He looked at the mirror and said "I've never worn pink before" 🤗Hmmm? I have many pink ones 🤣.
Hi Jay & Nobby😃!
Your father looks great in pink 🩷😆 I love that he's so happy 😍.
Tsuneyama, a delicious way to fly away your fatigue ‼️ I wish I could fly too 🪽I wonder if I could 😅If it wasn't so hard, I could at least fly low 🤣⁉️🤣.
Hi Jay & Nobby😃Tsuneyama looks delicious ❣️ I haven't come across it yet, so I'll grab it and show it to you as soon as I come across it since you say it's delicious even before you drink it👍I can tell from the picture that your father is happy with his birthday present😊.
Jay & Nobby, good evening 🌙.
It was about the same time 😆 The review is really true and brings back the delicious feelings 🎉.
It's nice to wear bright colored clothes to lift your spirits 🥳Your father looks great 🎉.
Jay & Nobby Good evening😊That's Tsuneyama! It's highly rated in the reviews, isn't it? I've been curious about it but haven't had it yet😅I'm even more eager to try it now that I've read your review. Your father's pink outfit looks great on you!
Good evening, Jay & Nobby!
I know you're also interested in this sake, Tsuneyama-san: ⤴️
I would love to try it if I come across it 😁✨✨
I can feel your father must have a wonderful smile 😊.
Pink is lovely 🤗
I decided to do something I don't usually do 🍶: Lunchtime drinking ☀🍶.
I got my wife's permission to have a lunchtime drink and spent the morning working out at the gym and bathhouse to get ready for the day 😄.
We went to our regular restaurant, Yugamian Kamenya, a short walk from our house 🚶.
We ordered beer and konjak dengaku before we started the first Soba, and after quenching our thirst, we shifted to Oroshi Soba and Sake to start our meal 🍶.
Tsuneyama Junmai Dry Chokuchi
The aroma of rice is clear and full, the mouthfeel is smooth and clear, the flavor is clean and crisp, and there is a refreshing aftertaste and a lingering bitterness at the end.
I forget who said it, but it is the embodiment of the phrase "Fukui's sake is rich in flavor". The spiciness of the refreshing "oroshi-soba" goes well with the mellow flavor of "Tsuneyama".
Some restaurants in Fukui serve oroshi-soba separately from the broth, as shown in the fourth picture, so visitors to Fukui eat it dipped in the broth like mori-soba, while local residents basically eat it bukkake style, as shown in the first picture 😄.
I'm starting to feel drunk, so I'm going to walk a little more and go to the "Hashigo-zake" (lunchtime drinking) 🤣.
Hi, Gyve!
I'm not sure what to expect from a lunchtime drink, but it sounds like a situation where both fun and deliciousness would be doubled 🎵.
I see... I'll have to pour it over the separate servings 😲.
I will do that when I visit Fukui 😁.
Hi Jive 😃.
Paid daytime drinking 🤗 is something to be excited about ❣️ I also learned how to eat grated soba noodles in Fukui 📚They look delicious 😆Hashigozake is fun too 👍Enjoy your paid day to the fullest 😘.
Hi Gyve 😃.
A paid lunchtime drink is a special occasion 😆.
And soba and sake is the best 🥰.
Bukkake style, I'll keep that in mind so that when I go to Fukui, I don't have to worry about it 😆.
Hi Gyve 😊
Paid daytime drinking, isn't it great👍
I read in some izakaya that "life is great when you can drink from noon" 📝.
Oroshi soba and dry Fukui sake, that's a very typical start for you, Gyve-san!
It is from a liquor store's hanpukai.
A special order light nigori ver.
The aroma is sour, rancid, and faint.
When you drink it, the chili-swirling mouthfeel is followed by muscat and citrus-like acidity, and then the umami permeates the palate.
It is not so much "dry" as "za! It is not so much dry as gently umami. The alcohol is not so much that it bothers me, but the sharpness when swallowed is quite good.
As the day goes by, it settles down and the flavor comes together. The mouthfeel is smooth and easy to drink, and it is refreshingly tight.
I remember that the Tsuneyama I drank last year became a little sweeter after opening, so I wondered if it would be better to drink it earlier. This time, however, the process was different.
I enjoyed it with a meal.
Good evening, Kotaro 😃.
We had a bottle of Tobi on Sunday 😅we had a bottle of Tobi's raw sake 😋 which was not so much dry as well...but just as good 😙.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 🌙!
Your timing was perfect 🙌 glad to hear it 😚Jozan, it's not spicy but has a good balance of umami and sharpness and tastes great with a meal 😆.
This is a Junmai Ginjo from Fukui sake brewery, Tsuneyama Shuzo. The clear bottle and cool label foreshadow a refreshing sake.
It seems to have a slight color.
In the mouth, one can feel a fine gasiness, and there is a wonderful harmony of refreshing sweetness and bitterness that spreads across the palate. There is almost no acidity, and the slight bitterness that can be felt gives it a firm kick.
It is a stable 100% Ihyakumangoku.
As I expected from the first taste, it is a refreshing summer sake, and I enjoyed it with kelp kamaboko, a regular entrée at our house.
I forgot to record this specialty of Tsuneyama, Zuichi Special😍.
This one has amazake added at the end 🤭.
Gorgeous banana, pear, green apple.
It's sweeter than the regular type, but the fresh acidity gives it a clean kick.
I've always liked sweet, so I prefer this one compared to the regular one 🫠.
It's in my top 3 🤭.
Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Rice used: Gohyakumangoku (contract rice grown in Miyama district, Fukui Prefecture)
Polishing ratio: 50
Strength: 15%.
Spend GW with this girl! This is a very limited edition sake from Tsuneyama that sits only in a limited number of distributors! I was hesitant to buy it because it's a bit pricey & it's a bottle, but I bought it after reading Nork's review!
I was hesitant to buy it because it was a bit pricey & only available at a limited number of dealers, but I bought it after reading Nork's review! The picture below shows a gorgeous bottle of this sake made from a pure Daigin standard of Gohyakumangoku (Tsuneyama Kyokyu?) with a lot of sake lees from Sakahomare brewed with the same sake!
Open the bottle! The pressure was so strong that I thought my fingers would be blown off 😂They are very vigorous! Automatic stirring as a matter of course lol...
The aroma is quite mild. It has a nice sakekasu aroma! If it's a polar base, it will turn into melon in time 🍈.
When you include it...it's delicious! 🫨🤣🫨🤣 Well, it's a Tsuneyama, so it's what you'd expect, but it's a dry, refined Tsuneyama with a stronger than usual carbonation! It's dry when cold and melon-like sweetness as the temperature rises. ☺️ It was quite dry at first sip, but after about an hour it became sweet, delicious and spicy carbonated, quite different from the Tsuneyama Kyoku. ☺️
Echizen dry is the best!
It's designed to stick straight to those who properly like Tsuneyama!
Hi Termat 😃.
The atmospheric appearance of the Kyokushizuku looks amazing😍I would love to drink it at least once 🥹.
We have a fresh bottle of Tsuneyama Fei waiting for me in our fridge 🤗I'm looking forward to drinking it 😙.
Jay and Nobby, good evening to you 😃 Great job! I'd love to drink the non-tailored shizuku sake one day 🥹.
Tsuneyama Hisho! I like it 🤣 I remember it being dry AND fruity and bitty! My recommendation is kinky 😆.
Hi Termat, good evening! I missed your review 😨 I need another drink while watching your review here 🤣.
Designed to stick straight to those who like Tsuneyama! So...! That makes sense 😳
Hi Fork! I am honored to hear you say so 🤣.
I'm a very good friend of Fork's! I think it's what I'm looking for in a dry fruity chihuahua mashimashi and evergreen mountain!
Tomorrow is scheduled for the opening festival🍶 so I think I'll have to warm up and drive today: ‼️
This Tsuneyama is my favorite lately 😊.
It's gassy, gently sweet, easy to drink and delicious ❣️
The ramen is at Misoya Bandai Atami main branch 🍜.
Of course they specialize in miso 😊.
Good evening, Mr. Muro😄.
So tomorrow is the opening festival?
I wonder if there will be another parade of awesome sake 🤣.
I'm looking forward to your review 👍.
The Tsuneyama in warmer temperatures sounds delicious again 😋 I'd love to try it 😍.
Good evening, HinaHanaMama!
Not many rarities this time 😅.
I got some gifts and one of my juniors (a brewer) wants to drink it after a long time.
So it's a festival to open the corks to drink a lot 😅.
Good evening, Mr. Muro😄.
I'm looking forward to the opening festival 😆♪♪
And also, the ramen looks delicious 🍜!
I also like it with lots of green onions on top 😘.
Good morning, Manta!
Did you have a ramen dream 😋I hope you'll try them all as they are all undoubtedly delicious ❣️
You might lose out on the ramen festival we had the other day😅.
Good morning, Tsubu!
I had so much fun at the opening festival, I got drunk 🤣I gave up posting halfway through 😭.
I'll report back as I open more 🫡.
Let's go to a good miso place next time 💕
Good morning, Dr. Jay & Dr. Nobby 🍶.
I'm jealous of your Tsuneyama Fei🍶🥹.
I want one too 🤤 I've been wanting to try drinking it 🤤.
I want to drink more and more sake from Fukui too💕.
