I like Tobu Department Store events and often go to see them without buying anything 😊I bought a bottle at the Kyoto long-established stores event in early fall 😊They don't do many Kyoto product stores, so I always look forward to it👍. 100% Gohyakumangoku from Kyoto, 50% polished rice, 17.5% alcohol by volume. Using the yeast "Kyo-no-Koi". Dry and dry mouthfeel as Mrs. ordered from the waitress 😋Kyoto sake is also delicious 👍This was my first Kyoto sake, but you won't find it in Utsunomiya 😅Thank you for the treat 🙏. I heard the Isodine song from the TV commercial in my side ear and was singing it in my mind... the lyrics have changed 😳I immediately searched and found that you gave up Isodine... after I'm home, I was wrong for a long time about the ding ding part of rattle ding ding ding 🤣. It's so different 🤭.

Excellent light junmai aroma: lots of rice and rice flour-like cereal notes, some milky dairy, and also banana, apple, pear, blueberry fruity notes too. The palate is smooth but comes in with a big punch of acid, before disappearing. What's left is a slightly thin, almost watery finish. Very drinkable, but I think the palate lets this one down a lot. There's nothing after the initial acid, and it feels a bit boring. 2.5/5 for the aroma

The brewery is located in the town of Keihoku, about an hour's drive from the center of Kyoto, in the northern part of the city, weaving its way through the beautiful Kitayama cedar mountains. Surrounded by lush forests, the town is centered on the clear waters of the Katsura River, and the rich nature, clean air, pure water, and severe cold of -10°C in winter are a great help in sake brewing. The brewery is also located in a rice paddy field, where the brewery staff cultivates rice called "Shuku," which is the pride of Kyoto. The sake brewed from medium-hard water (130 degrees hardness) with high mineral content, different from that of the Fushimi area of Kyoto, is characterized by its exquisite acidity and fine, smooth, crisp taste. It is the sake of choice for Kyoto cuisine professionals and is a favorite of Kyoto's high-class restaurants and ryokan (Japanese-style inns). The first bottle was given to me at a certain president's house, to whom I am indebted. The rice used was ㊗️. Celebration is Kyoto's original rice that was revived in the Heisei era and is suitable for ginjo-shu (ginjo sake). It has a very elegant sweetness and aroma and is a premium ️sake. It is smooth on the palate and goes down smoothly. It was gone in no time. It was a treat❣️.

Rokuyu Junmai Daiginjo Genshu May 3, 2022 JR Kyoto Isetan 2200yen GW bullet trip to Kyoto. I bought it after talking with the brewer who was holding a sales event at Isetan in Kyoto Station. It is a junodai made with only 50% polished Gohyakumangoku (five hundred million stones), and is priced moderately. It has a sweet ginjo aroma with a hint of alcohol. In the mouth, it has a soft texture, but after the sweetness is felt, the alcohol is strongly felt. It is good for those who prefer dry sake.

Hatsuhinode KURATE-NO-OPTION Junmai Ginjo Nama-no-Genjo-Unfiltered Nama-Zume Cherry blossom viewing with yaezakura in the garden 🌸🌸 The sake was a gift from my wife. The aroma is like that of Japanese sake. It is delicious not only for its pungent taste that comes through to the nose, but also for its subtle sweetness. Happiness to be able to drink from lightening time. I had to work until past noon 😅
