It has been 30 years since the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, and while watching the news, Higashinada Ward in Kobe City was also mentioned. Higashinada Ward is Kiku-Masamune, right? I was underage at the time, so I was not aware of the sake brewery. The pack design has been renewed, but the taste is the same as before: dry and spicy with a nice acidity. The taste is stable dry sake with a good balance of spiciness and acidity. This season, it tastes great warmed up with its umami and aroma expanding 😋😋😋😋. It goes well with everyday meals, and you will never get tired of drinking it. No gasiness or ginjo aroma. Priced at 1,298 yen without tax. Great value sake at a special price in the sake section of a supermarket.

☀️ Masamune hunters go today🍶. Went to a petit event "Nada no Sake" in Nihonbashi 🤗. I already decided on my target in advance research so I went there to pinpoint 🎯👀. Firm sweet body 🏋️ I've never seen a special junmai sake while using special A Yamada Nishiki 😳 This is the kind of special junmai sake that only Legend👑 allows 🤗. The aroma has a ginjo aroma that is typical of Legend 😚. The texture was very Nada-like 🤗 Nice Masamune👍

I bought it at a supermarket discount for about 900 yen. I drank it with no expectations at all and found it to be quite tasty. Seriously, this is a regular sake at this price? It tasted fresh and fruity. It has a fresh and fruity taste, and because it is alsochueted, it is a little dry and refreshing. Kikumasa is a great sake.

Went to Kawasaki Daishi Hatsumode. We had lunch at a nearby soba noodle restaurant. It was recommended, so I ordered it without hesitation. The aroma of the barrels (cypress, I guess) was refreshing and delicious. I am impressed when I drink sake from a barrel sometimes. I paired it with stewed pork. We finished with soba noodles.

Drunk cold (My vote 3.5/5) On the nose vanilla, apricot, umami, dried fruit and a woody hint. On the palate cooked rice, vanilla, mushroomy, earthy and mineral. Room temperature (My vote 3.3/5) On the nose the taste is herbaceous and aniseed. On the palate wood, white peach and pepper. Warm (My vote 3.7/5) On the nose the taste is fruit, wood and oak for a rich flavor, a pungent taste and a spicy hint. On the roof of the mouth white peach, apricot, honey, spices, anise, pepper and mimosa.

I visited Kikumasamune on a trip to Hyogo and was so impressed that I had to order it (I usually never order such things). The first sip gave me a sour taste like yogurt with a dash of Okinawa (Reimei). I thought I might have made a mistake, but as I sipped it, it suddenly changed to a gorgeous flavor that surprised me 🍶. It is not my favorite flavor, but I learned that even the same sake brewer can make a completely different flavor 📚.
