The top aroma is clean and fruity.
When you drink it, it is smooth, sweet and a little dry, and it goes down smoothly. The hint of aroma is that of junmai (pure rice). This is delicious. It is good both on its own and during a meal. It goes well with the beef lemon bento from Hotto Motto. It tastes fresh and very tasty, perhaps because it is a cup sake. It is hard to believe that it was bought at a convenience store.
my favorite
Domestic rice
Polishing ratio 70%.
Alcohol 14-15 degrees
Kiku-Masamune Barrel Sake, Namahoashiro, Dry Mouth Cup
The one you drink sometimes. This is the one that is sold everywhere but is still relatively tasty. The aroma of cedar like cask sake and the characteristic soft acidity and sweetness of the sake are well balanced and delicious. It is relatively refreshing without being cloying.
Potato salad my wife made yesterday
with the chicken skin with ginger that I made yesterday. 😂
And mackerel rice sold at Yaoko,
It goes well with sake. 😁.
I want to drink keg sake when I forget about it. 😊
Just the right 300ml drinkable size. 😍
It was served perfectly chilled. 😋
Enjoying the aroma of the oak and the crispy
I enjoyed the marriage of the dry sake and the chicken skin while enjoying the aroma of the oak
We enjoyed the marriage between the dry, crispy taste and the chicken skin while enjoying the aroma of the oak. The wine was very good 😏.
Hi, Hanapin 🐦.
This sake goes well with food, doesn't it? It has a nice aroma too😊I haven't had it in a while♪
I'd like to try it after a long time. I think it would be refreshing to eat it with pickled plum on top.
Good evening, Pon. 😊
Yes, sometimes I feel the urge to drink without a second thought. 😍
I've been addicted to mackerel rice for a while now, with boiled burdock root, greens
pickled greens, and pickled ume plum.
I'm addicted to it. 😍😍
Kiku-Masamune Sesession
12-13% brewing alcohol 900ml 810yen
Thick, plum-like fruitiness and super mellow sweetness. White malted rice, brewing acidity like wine yeast, but this is CRU2 yeast, Kikumasamune's proprietary yeast. It's like a cheap sake coated with umami ingredients?
I will have to give this to my friends at Kinsho-kai.
I served it blind to the four fierce drinkers.
Three of them said, "This is good! It's a good sake! This is the latest fad, isn't it?" They were fooled, but "Sake Hitman" Mr. F said, "Hmmm? Something doesn't feel right," he said, his eyes shining.
Hitman and I gave it a slightly lower rating, but the others gave it a higher score, so it was ranked 4th out of 15. It easily ranked high among the famous sake brands. It left a mark like Gekkeikan's Katsuki.
However, the sake quality is as good as the price. It is a sake that tests one's ability to discern the truth.
Rating 3.5 (out of 5.0 perfect) 20230524
As advertised, it is refreshing, fruity and delicious! I think I prefer this to the freshly squeezed kinpak.
It tastes better than the inferior brands and is more cost-effective, so I'll use it for everyday use.
This is Wan Wan Challenge Sake No. 11.
It is said to be fruity and slightly dry!
It has a peachy aroma as soon as you open the bottle,
The aroma is strong.
When you drink it, you can feel a little bit of alkalinity, but the fruity flavor is only in the aroma,
After drinking more than 1 gou, the spiciness comes out a little,
After drinking more than one cup, the spiciness comes out a little,
It's a refreshingly smooth sake that you can drink indefinitely.
I have a feeling that it will go well with all kinds of food,
Well, in fact, it went well with almost all dishes.
The downside of the packaged sake is that you can't see how much is left,
No beer for me today.
A gift from my parents' house.
It has a slightly deteriorated taste, probably because it has been stored for a few days.
The taste is sweet and fresh at first, followed by bitterness and a gentle umami.
It is a Kiku-Masamune type of sake, but the bitterness is stronger than usual and a little bitter... If not for the bitterness, it would have been fresh and my favorite sake.
Kikumasamune, a gift from my husband!
What do you think this might be the first time I drink it?
The sake! (Can you tell? Can you feel it?)
The taste of old-fashioned sake. LOL!
It has a strong taste on the palate, but the aftertaste is rather refreshing! I like it a lot.
Maybe the taste will change again after some time?
I live near Nada Gogo.
To make a complicated story short, my first encounter with sake was drinking Wakayama's Kido at an izakaya in Nara Prefecture.
And the first sake I bought was a 300 ml bottle of "barrel sake".
I bought it at the Kiku-Masamune brewery in Hyogo Prefecture.
I rode home on the train with an aura of having learned something about sake.
That evening, I went shopping at a nearby Daiei. In the sake section, the barrel sake I had bought at lunchtime was on the ordinary line...
It is easy but tasty! You can find it at convenience stores too.
I can't get enough of the smell of the cypress!
