Purchased at the directly-managed store Okina-ya, Fushimi, Japan on 9/20.
A faucet protrudes from a quaint earthen wall and is filled by a shopkeeper.
The aroma is a little sour.
The mouthfeel is clean, crisp, and easy to drink.
You can feel the umami of the rice afterwards.
The alcohol content is 17%, but it feels lighter on the palate than expected, while still being full of flavor and drinkable!

I was offered this to drink before I left.
Can you taste the rice flavor? I'm not sure 😅
I drank a little too much😆.
Sold by weight at Okinaya in Kyoto. Sake-like aroma, fresh but not light, sourness and umami.
The following is from the brewer.
Rice that can take advantage of the softness of the brewing water is used. Gently and carefully brewed. It has a gentle mouthfeel and a calm aroma.
Bottled straight from the tank, no heat treatment. Keep in a refrigerator for at least 3 days after opening. Drink as soon as possible, either cold or on the rocks.
One sake from the Fushimizu Sake Brewery Koji sake tasting set 🍶.
It was so good that I bought it on impulse at Fushimizu Sake Brewery Hall and had it delivered by cool delivery service.
Once again, it's really delicious even when drunk slowly at home 😋.
It's light drinking, so don't drink too much: ⚠️
