Natsusei by Popular Ichi, purchased together with the fresh one we drank earlier.
Sake rice brand unknown, rice polishing ratio 60%.
The alcohol content is 16%, but there is no sign of it on the palate. It has a sweetness that makes it dangerous to drink too much, contrary to its mouthfeel. I can drink it 😅I forgot it's still Monday 😋.
Good evening, Matchy 😃.
Beautiful label and the most popular one ‼️
I've never had a bottle of Popularity One 🥲 but I'm curious about the one that makes me forget about Monday 😙.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 😀
I picked it up too because of the beautiful and cool label. It's an escape from reality since Monday 😅.
It's a 16% junmai ginjo, so even though it's a sweet drink, it has a decent spiciness to it. If you see it, please try it ☺️
This is my first brewery 🍶.
Sake rice brand unknown, rice polishing ratio 50%.
The unfamiliar words on the label, "ripened sake," seem to mean a combination of freshly squeezed and matured sake.
When the bottle is opened, it is fresh and vibrant, and one begins to drink with high expectations. The mouthfeel was sweet with a bitter aftertaste, and it was more like a special junmai. Very tasty 😋.
Fermentation of this sake ended at 11% alcohol by volume due to the characteristics of the yeast.
The acidity derived from malic acid can be felt, making it an easy drink even for beginners.
The 2nd Yodobashi Umeda National Sake Festival (15)
The booth of Fukushima Prefecture's Popular Ichiban. I guess since I drank at Keihan Department Store. I've never had it before.
◉Fresh aged Junmai Daiginjo
-A near fresh sake that is frozen at 3 degrees Celsius and served as soon as it is ready to drink. Sourness to bitterness. The aftertaste is sweet and bitter-sweet.
◉Gold Junmai Daiginjo
The taste is clear and elegant, with a light and refreshing mouthfeel that is followed by a touch of umami.
◉Traditional technique: Japanese kettle steaming.
The acidity is impressive and not very intense. The taste is also very average.
◉Ao Popularity Ginjo
The taste is a bit too mature, a bit too loose, and a bit too much umami.
It seemed to be selling well, as it was the closest to the entrance. No tasting of the Tsuburaya Productions collaboration.
Popular Ichi Sake Godzilla Junmai Daiginjo
16% 50% 720ml 3850yen
The case has an interesting story about Eiji Tsuburaya's hometown near the brewery in Nihonmatsu.
It is brewed in a wooden vat, daiginjo, and comes in a nice box, so the price is quite reasonable.
It has a smooth taste with a hint of guava and other tropical fruits. It has a full, rich mouthfeel with hints of guava and other tropical fruits, and the slight aging process gives it a rich, mellow, and hot taste.
It is an expensive sake, so it would be good to give it away. But I wouldn't buy it myself. Maybe there is a demand for Gojira collectors.
