The second sake of the New Year is from Shiga Prefecture. I went to the brewery at the end of March last year and bought it, but my father liked it so much that I ordered it this time. It is crisp and easy to drink, yet spicy and delicious! Highly recommended.

Junmai Sake Hanpukai October Shiga "Kyokujitsu" special junmai sake 🍶. Ingredient rice: Ginbukiyo Yeast: Shiga Prefecture yeast (newly developed, no name yet) I received rainbow trout as a gift from a friend, so I thought 🤔 what kind of sake would go well with it... 👍this sake goes well with freshwater fish. The pleasant ginjo aroma and the umami of the rice spread out plumply, and the sake finished with a lingering aftertaste 🥰. The hanpukai has a lot of challenging sakes, and the toji's picture (even his age 👀!) is included. The sake is also accompanied by the toji's photo (even his age 👀!) so you can drink it while seeing the brewer's face 🥰. I heard that the Fujii Honke brewery is a magnificent zelkova-style brewery, and I'd love to visit! Rainbow trout was served in aqua pazza style with takikomi rice 😋. Note for myself 📝. Aaru Sake Hello 🐰 Fujii Honke is my recommended brewery ✨ The building of the brewery is awesome and they sell about 20 different types of 180ml, so I don't think there is any other set where you can compare all types of drinks. Please visit there 😆🎶.

I got the last bottle that was in a certain department store. At the cash register, the person in charge of sake whispered to me, "You chose a good sake ❤️. I can expect a lot from it. The rice used is Ginbukiyo. I was surprised to hear that "Yama no Laugh" is a seasonal word for spring. So, this seems to be a spring sake, but I wonder if it has been laid down for half a year. I am not sure if that is the effect, but it has a supple and full flavor. It has a beautiful sweetness that draws you in. Aruzoe nama-zake is not heavy and has a good alcohol taste, which gives a good impression❣️. It was a good sake for sure‼️.

Asahi Nikkohi Tokubetsu Junmai Sake Bottle Storage Strong aroma. (It seems to have a strong umami taste!) It was still not very sweet, but more acidic and umami! I'm sure this one will show a different face if you change the temperature range! ☺️. Room temperature Aroma is not so strong. Gentle sweetness and just enough umami to make it easy to drink, this one looks better at room temperature! 🥰

A gift from a neighbor. It is a dry sake with a strong, sharp alcohol taste when drunk cold. When drunk cold, it is a dry sake with a sharp alcohol taste. When drunk warmed, the sharpness disappears. It has a gentle flavor with a hint of zing. A good food sake to pair with fish. Personally, I prefer it lukewarm.

Hello, Shonan Han. I have the same tokkuri container you have pictured with the bottle of Rising Sun, so I couldn't help but post a comment. I usually drink cold sake in a glass container with a cover to keep it warm, but I wonder if it is safe to put lukewarm sake in it?

Mashira no Yama Thank you for your comment! I'm fine with that tokkuri because I've put it not only lukewarm, but also at a jumpy heated temperature range. I think I bought it in a microwave oven. It's that time of year when you want it heated up!

It was purchased at the Fujii Honke warehouse. It was a majestic warehouse, with an impressive large zelkova pillar in the middle of the entry. Since we stopped by in a hurry, we didn't have enough time to visit the warehouse. 😂 Next time, I will make plans to go there. It was easy to drink, with a gassy, slightly sweet, and refreshingly umami feeling nigori sake. 😀
