It's a very thick, cloudy sake. It's good when heated up.

I went to Shirakawa-go 🙏.
I heard there is a doburoku festival in October. I had no idea. They were selling doburoku ice cream. I wanted to eat it because it was too hot, but I couldn't because the store was not open 😢Gassho-zukuri, I could see something nice 😁.
I didn't have time to eat, so I quickly bought a cup of nigori (nigori sake) that was around there.
When I got back home, I looked carefully at Hourai and W's Watanabe Sake Brewery ⁉️ and found that it was delicious!

Lush green rice fields, traditional Gassho-zukuri architecture, the sound of cicadas echoing in the blue sky... Shirakawa-go in summer was a nice thing 😆.

This is my first nigori sake.
It is like a sweet sake with a touch of alcohol. The mouthfeel is very sticky and the aftertaste is very sweet.
The alcohol content is 17%, but the sweetness and the mouthfeel make the alcohol taste quite light.
