I had told my friend that I would send him a returning bonito, but it seems that the returning bonito is not doing well, so I sent him an extra large saury instead, and in return, he received an extra large crab!
We invited some friends from the neighborhood and held a crab festival at Lalu's house!
My friend's daughter, who happened to be back from Chiba, also came to the party, and when I let her choose the sake, she brought a bottle of Tobiroki with a grin on her face. She is as discerning as ever.
I didn't notice much of the upfront aroma, but the mouthfeel is firm and flavorful, with a little bit of alcohol, and the sake is clean and classically delicious.
I heated it up a little and used it with zuwai and hairy crab shell sake, which was great with the crab miso dissolved in it.
Don't abuse me, I'm not allowed to say that!
