The last of the set sales I received at Masaruya was Cosmos. I don't know the basic brand name for the set sales.
However, there was a hint only for the main sake, which was named after an autumnal flower, and as expected, it was Cosmos 😊.
It has a clean, fruity aroma with a fine, fine bubbles. The sourness of the acidity is noticeable in the mouth. It is easy to drink with a light sweet and sour taste with a hint of citrus. There was also a lingering astringent taste.
I would like to drink the next one since Colors also came with Ecru, Viridian, and Cosmos 🥰.
Good evening ichiro18😌.
I wonder if it's because of the cosmos boom recently, but I feel so close to you.
I also like the citrusy sweet and sour taste of cosmos, and I drink it with ease 😆.
I think this year's is especially easy to drink ☺️
Good evening, Afuio 😃.
I know ✨I think I see quite a few of them too 😁It's autumn seasonally so maybe I'll want to drink autumn sakura 🤔If it varies from year to year I'll have to drink it next year 🥰.
Good evening here too, ichiro18!
I see that you can get the Shinmasa Cosmos as part of the set sale 😲.
I remember I had it for the first time last year as an outside drink and loved it so much 😋.
Drinking at home is my dream 🤤!
Hello ichiro18😃
The main brand in the set sale is in quiz format 😲That's a novel method 😆 I would be very excited to buy it if it was a difficult question 🤣.
Drinking Shinsei at home is very special 🤩.
Thank you ma-ki-, it is a privilege of drinking at home to be able to drink slowly and savor the taste 😊This year was my first time to drink Colors 📡I have the impression that I can drink it outside, so I'm putting up a lot of pressure to drink it at home!
Hi Hiro, good evening 😃.
I'm glad it's easy to understand and cheap because it's 3 bottles. It's a secret at other liquor stores 😎Next time I ordered a 3 month hanpubu at another liquor store, so I'm excited to see what I'll get 😃.
ichiro18, I'm here for you too😊.
I see you've been drinking Cosmos! I was excited to see if it was the same lot, but it seems to be a little later than mine😊 but I'm glad we can share similar tastes🎶.
Thanks for this too, Pon 😊.
I never paid much attention to the lot, but the Shinsei label is interesting. It would be fun to compare lots if I can get my hands on some 😁 It was easy to drink as it was reputed to be.
Fruity
I never get tired of drinking it.
Overall, I thought it was soft and a drink I would like to have on special occasions.
It seems to go with everything, and while sake in general goes well with seafood and grilled dishes, I could enjoy a day without fruit, sweets, or entrées.
I ended up having it with sashimi and it was too good 🍶🐟.
Shinmasa's hanpukai luxury special comparing Hinotori and Gennotori
The menu says it's for professionals and has a strong taste.
If you see something like that, you have no choice but to drink it.
I'll start with the Gen-no-tori.
The aroma is similar (or almost the same?) to the Yonotori. It has a sweet aroma like caramel and honey 🍯.
The label on the back says that it is brewed entirely with brown rice except for the koji, which made me go "wow" 🥹.
The taste is not particularly strong or peculiar, but has a sweet, melty texture like Yonotori, with a delicious caramel honey that spreads on the palate 😋.
Next, I'll have the Hinotori.
Oh? This one seems a little more peculiar...? 🤔
It's still the same sweet, melty, caramel honey, but it leaves a slight sour taste in your throat...?
Both were wonderfully delicious drinks 😋✨.
Hello, Afio-san!
Oh, Shinmasa's hanpukai - how fascinating it sounds😍!
I've been curious about Hinotori and Genotori since I saw them at Sake no Wa recently 🎵.
I was curious to see the Hinotori and Gennotori recently, but now you are comparing them 🎵.
Hi, Afuio 😃.
I've been waiting for your comparison of Starbucks ☕️ drinks ❗️ It's great that both Gen and Scarlet don't have the unpleasant taste characteristic of brown rice 😊.
It's quintessential that you take separate photos of the back labels 👏.
ma-ki-, hello ☺️
It's charming and seductive, isn't it 🥳.
I was also curious about it and was wondering if the hanpukai sake would come to my favorite place, so I was very excited to try it 😋✨.
Both were excellent 🥰.
Hi Hiro 🥳.
Finally here it is, the drinking comparison: ‼️
Yes, it's true! I didn't taste the bad taste of brown rice at all, so I was impressed that it's indeed Shinsei: ☺️
I will defend only the back label to the death, no matter if spears or arrows fall 😆👍
Good evening, Afio 😃.
That's an awesome comparison of Shinmasa 😍.
Caramel honey sweetness, I bet it's delicious 👍I would go there too if I had a Matsuzaki near me 🥰.
Good evening ichiro18, ☺️
Thankfully we were able to do a hanpukai drinking comparison 🥳✨.
I was able to reconfirm that the sweet and tasty ones don't betray me after all 😆👍.
I wish Matsuzaki would expand their stores to various locations 😭
Today... it's been a while since I've had a Niimasa ecru✨.
The last time I drank this was about 6 months ago, so it's been a while 😆.
When I opened the bottle, the aroma was not that strong ❓ but I could feel a little bit of the raspberry 🍇 flavor that is typical of Shinmasa 👍.
The first sip from .......... I don't remember it being this refreshing 🤔⁉️🤔
I wonder if there is a big difference depending on the month it was made 😅.
I wonder if there is a big difference depending on the month of manufacture😅.
To be honest, I personally don't like the wine with strong acidity of Shinsei in general... but it's been a while since I've tasted it 😍.
The initial taste is refreshing... then sour lemon🍋 and raspberry🍇 sensation, with a nice sharpness and pull in the aftertaste... I like it a lot 🥰.
However...hmmm...what's the difference 💦?
It's been a while since I've had a Shinmasa that tasted so good, so it's a little refreshing 💧.
With the recent trend of raising the price of everything...2,000 yen regular price for ecru is really helpful ✨.
I've had many Shinsei, Cosmos, Viridian, Bird, Frog, Cat... but this one is the best in terms of cost performance: ☝️
The second day was also stable, with a refreshing taste and acidity 🍋, and it's just plain delicious 😋.
