Tochigi sake featured in Hankyu Department Store's Traveling SAKE. This is the first time I learned about this brewery at this event. It seems that Tochigi produces more shochu than sake. It was delicious, with a unique and robust sweetness, but I was attracted by the strawberry yeast 😅.

Purchased at Hankyu Department Store's Traveling SAKE. The rice is Nasuhikari grown by the company, and the sake is freshly brewed. It seems to have a strawberry flavor. It is not so sweet, but dry and has a nice sharpness, so it is good as a food sake. If Amabuki's strawberry yeast is like thick strawberry, Tochikane is like dried strawberry. If it is fire-brewed once, I would like it to be a little fresher.

Tochigi sake featured in Hankyu Department Store's Traveling SAKE. Tochikane Daiginjo. Tochikane Daiginjo is made from Aizan and uses Abelia yeast. It is rare to use flower yeast in Aizan, isn't it? Tochia Akane Daigin Aiyama🎵 Tochigo-Akane Hana-Kobo Aiyama🎵 Is it because of the use of floral yeast that it has a unique atmosphere while also being Aiyama-like? I didn't take a picture of it, but I also drank a sweet potato shochu made with strawberry yeast. It had a strong sweetpotato taste and I wanted to drink it with soda.

Opened October 25, 2024 Purchased at Kinugawa Onsen souvenir shop At first, fluffy, gentle aroma of fermentation, like ripe fruit, flabby ^ ^. The sweetness of the rice and the slight sourness of the fermentation... At the end, a slight bitterness accents the taste! I can't get enough of it ^ ^ ^ It's pretty good 😋.

The 22nd Hankyu Brewery Festival (3) Tochikane] booth. Tochikane love again 🤗💕. Tochikane is a brewery that we were allowed to sample a lot at the previous traveling SAKE. ◉Tochiakane strawberry yeast brewed RED It was slightly sweet and easy to drink, but I thought it was a bit sharp and strong, so I looked at the label on the back and saw that it was 18% alcohol by volume. ◉Tochi Akane Abelia yeast brewed The sweetness and acidity are impressive. The sweetness and acidity are impressive. Goyotei Junmai Ginjo The acidity is very clean and sweet, with a rather refreshing aftertaste. ◉Kuramoto-brewed amazake The first taste is smooth, creamy and refreshing, but the sweetness spreads quickly afterwards.

The 22nd Hankyu Brewery Festival (5) Tochigi-Ai 🥰 even in the tasting (2) Tochikane, which I first learned about at last year's traveling SAKE I drank Tochikane strawberry yeast brewed RED I have tasted Tochikane's strawberry yeast brewed sake in the past, but this one has a light red color. I didn't check if they use peach yeast or red rice, so I'm not sure 😅It's a very strong drink with a sharp taste that makes you feel like you're drinking it hard! The brewer said he recommends drinking it on the rocks. Tochikane Daiginjo with Abelia yeast I drank this one when I was at Hanshin Department Store, but it has a more relaxed atmosphere than the original. Goyotei Junmai Ginjo It was delicious, with a clean yet mellow flavor. Kuramoto-brewed amazake Easy to drink, but not very impressive. I felt it was just ordinary amazake. I was also interested in Sansho and coffee shochu, but there is no end to it.

Event. I stopped by the "Toast Festa 2024 with Toast with Tochigi Local Sake" held at Orion Hall in Utsunomiya. It was already very crowded when I arrived at 16:00 on Saturday 😆. I started with a sake I had never had before 😁. The color is pale yellow 🟡. Smell is slightly sweet. The taste is strawberry🍓feeling and clean sweet like banana🍌. The sweetness slowly takes effect in the aftertaste. The sweetness is unique and interesting 🍶.

Monthly Tochigi love 🥰 ongoing Since I bought it at the traveling SAKE shop in the Hankyu Department Store last year. This time at Hanshin Department Store. The last time I bought it, it was hi-ire, but this time it was a nama sake. I think the hi-ire sake has a stronger strawberry flavor, but I think I can taste more sweetness in the nama sake. I hope they will come to Kansai again because they have a variety of flower yeast sake. Next time I want to buy Daiginjo Oshiroibana or Abelia that impressed me so much when I tasted it! After 3 days from opening, it seems to have more strawberry taste. After a few more days, it seems to have a stronger pungency...

Tochigi Ai🥰 at the tasting I didn't bring any draft sake to last year's traveling SAKE, but this time I brought 4 different types of draft sake 😳. The ones we drank were Junmai Ginjo Ichigo Yeast Shiboritate Nama Nama Sake Made with Nasuhikari. I bought a hi-ire version of this last year, but I have the impression that the hi-ire version had a stronger sweetness. Daiginjo-nama sake brewed with oshiroibana yeast The rice is Gohyakumangoku. It is very gorgeous, sweet and juicy, delicious and my favorite, but I was hesitant to try it. Daiginjo-nama-genshu brewed with abelia yeast The rice is Yumesasara. It was also my favorite, but I gave it up because it was too expensive 😢. Junmai Ginjyo Yumesasara Kozake 3 years old raw It was aged at low temperature, but it was quite matured.... The 8 year old Ichinokura that we had at Icoma Sake Shop was more beautifully aged and tasted better. I found it a little spicy, but I bought the most reasonably priced raw sake with the 🍓 yeast.
