With oyster shigureni which my wife made. Oysters are devastated in Hiroshima this year, but that doesn't mean we can't eat them this time of year 😅. It is a well-balanced sake, medium-hot and fruity. I thought it would go well with a slightly darker dish like shigure-ni-nimono with oysters. I think it works as a match because the long lingering flavor of the oyster on the palate and the lingering flavor of the sake seem to be in tune with each other. Both the oysters and sake seemed to disappear quickly, so I made an effort to taste and drink and eat (laugh).
