I didn't go to the brewery, but I haven't seen Kyushu Chrysanthemum in Tokyo either, so this will be a first for me.
The first aroma is sweet with a hint of acidity.
In the mouth, there is a slight bitterness and a strong sweet umami taste that is typical of nama sake.
This is a honjozo sake, but it is a very good sake that does not feel like it has been alkaloated.
The price is also very reasonable at around 1,300 yen for a five-pack.
In Tokyo, you only see gougo bottles of kenrishi or shochu 🤔.
I wonder if it is more common in the west?
Dokurakura is an aged sake brand from Morinokura.
This is the first time I've had an aged one 🍶.
I had it warmed.
The aroma is slightly sweet with a sense of maturity.
The first sip has a sweet aroma with a hint of maturity.
It was a refreshing and crisp sake ✨.
The third picture shows the manufacturing facility of Morinokura and the renovated main building on the left side, which is used for tasting and selling sake to tourists (nonbe?). The third picture shows the production facility of the brewery and the "Mori no Away" on the left.
There was also a limited edition unfiltered raw sake from the brewery.
I'll get to that later.
Good evening, Mr. Matsuchiyo.
Fukuoka's sake is delicious, isn't it?
Among them, Dokurakura and Morinokura are my favorites. But I have never had a sake made from the oldest sake yeast and Yamahai sake.
I am curious about them.
Good evening Mr. Maruwa🍶.
Yes, that's right. I didn't know about it until recently and came to Fukuoka on a drinking trip😅.
Morinokura is delicious, but I'm going for Asahikiku 😊.
Good evening, Matsuchiyo🌇.
Thank you for appreciating our Fukuoka sake 😊.
Morinokura is a serious sake brewery that makes all of its sake from mukashi to junmai!
Please continue to support us 📣🤲.
Good evening, Mr. Chichi 🍶.
I myself was born in Fukuoka and drank in Hakata, so I may have a very favourable opinion 😅 but good food is good food!
I will continue to support Fukuoka sake 😆.
Since I came to Fukuoka, I wanted to try a sake that I couldn't drink in Tokyo, so I decided to try Hiyotsuru for the first time.
The first aroma is sweet with a hint of acidity.
In the mouth, there is a slight astringent taste with a strong sweetness that is typical of unfiltered raw sake.
The astringent taste lingers and gradually fades away.
It was quite delicious 🍶✨.
The second one is at the Hiyotsuru brewery.
Of course I went there after drinking it the day before 😅.
There was no sales or tasting, so I just looked at it and that was it.
It looked like some brewers were working on bottling.
The Fukuoka sake I see most often in Tokyo is Uguisu from the garden, but I put it off because I thought I could drink it anytime 😅.
This is my first time here 🍶.
The first aroma is slightly pineapple 🍍.
The mouthfeel is a refreshing Pinappo 🍍.
It is a bit of 🍍 and it is very light and refreshing.
It was quite delicious in a modern way ✨.
The third photo is of the main building of the Yamaguchi Brewery.
They were selling sake here too, but unfortunately we were not able to sample it 🥲.
Today we had a little late lunch after visiting Yame, Setaka, and Yanagawa.
While waiting for the eels to be steamed in the "seiro" in Yanagawa, we checked in at Kitaya in Yame, which we had visited in the morning.
The third photo is the main building of Kitaya.
They were selling sake, but no tasting was available, unfortunately 🥲.
Well, the top aroma is fruity sweet.
In the mouth, there is a juicy sweetness and a refreshing acidity.
A little sweet and not at all like Yamahai 🙄 but it was delicious ✨🍶.
I'm traveling a bit and was surprised by the outstanding sweetness and flavor of Ayahana's raw sake😍.
The first aroma is sweet like wasanbon.
In the mouth, it is sweet and gorgeous, with a sweetness and richness like Wasanbon and a hint of sourness.
The ginjo aroma escapes through the nose.
I have had a hiyayoroshi of Ayahana before, but it left a completely different impression.
Come to think of it, Tanaka Sixty-five was also gorgeous when it was a nama-shu.
The proprietress of the store told me that most Fukuoka sake is made as a food sake, so the aroma is not so strong.
At the store, I met a woman who drank with gusto and another woman who was a senior (!) at my elementary school in my birthplace, Omuta. I enjoyed a deep and fun night in Nishinakasu from the very first day.
Fukuoka is a great place after all🤗.
Good evening, Matsuchiyo-san.
I see that you were born in Fukuoka! I hope you are enjoying your trip👍.
I have never seen this brand before 😳 Is it similar to Tanaka Sixty-five's Nama Sake? I'm curious because I like it very much 😁.
Good evening, Pon-chan.
There are two brands, Asahi Kiku and Daichi, which are famous for heated sake.
It tastes sweeter and richer than Tanaka Sixty-five's draft, and has a delicious flavor like Shinkame's draft.
It tastes sweeter and richer than Shinkame's nama sake and has a delicious flavor like Shinkame's nama sake.
Good evening, Matsuchiyo-san!
Fukuoka is really a nice place, isn't it?
I'm excited to be in Kanto right now, but I wonder if I'll ever get homesick.... I wonder if I'll ever get homesick 💦.
Good morning, Chichi 🌞.
You may feel that pork ramen is not enough for you, but there are a lot of different temptations (meaning), so I'm sure you'll be fine, but be careful 😆.
