Furusato's second tax payment.
Yamadanishiki, 40% polished rice.
Almost no aroma.
It is dry but has a fairly long aftertaste, and the alcohol seems to linger on the palate instead of being a cloying taste.
I can't say for sure since this is my first time drinking Kurikomayama, but I guess the brewery makes old-fashioned tasting sake.
I think I would like it with pickles or salted fish.

100% Gin-no-Iroha
This is a new sake rice from Miyagi called Gin-no-Iroha.
Quite blue melon sweetness. Strong acidity, with little bitterness and a sharp finish. It is sake, but it does not taste like sake.
Mild aroma, smooth texture, full-bodied but with a beautiful sharpness. Excellent. Delicious!
It is a sinful sake that goes down smoothly. Too delicious.
