From Yunogo to Bizen
And then to Kurashiki
This hotel stated that alcoholic beverages would be served as a welcome drink.
Sure enough, there it was!
Two kinds of sake!
I decided to get some sake for my wife!
The first one was Kihei Junmai Ginjo Wooden Oke Brewing Harasake!
It's only a little bit (about 20ml), but you can taste it!
The sensation of the wooden vat.
It feels more fruity than I expected!
In front of the front desk is a beautiful lounge, and from the 11th floor you can look out into the distance.
It is a cozy hotel 🏨.

Mamakari is the perfect accompaniment to a little drinking in Okayama.
The refreshing texture and slurping sensation are a blissful moment for both parties!
This Kihei is a sake brewery in Okayama. There is one of the same name in Shizuoka, and they seem to be closely related. I wanted to drink Shizuoka Heiki, but the one I ordered was from Okayama😓.
It was sweet because it was a honjozo and easy to drink because it was a draft 😋.
This is the third consecutive week-end party, but today's was at the famous Yasudaya Honten in Shizuoka. It is a buckwheat noodle restaurant that was frequented by Yoshinobu Tokugawa.
The Soba Kaiseki was magnificent. Soba was served like sushi, and the bowl of soba was topped with dried bonito!
It is said that when Keiki moved to Sunpu, the Edo people moved with him. They were selfish, so they were told to put fish on top, and this menu was created. Of course, Shizuoka's soba, trained by the Edo kids, is delicious 😋.
Hi Jay & Novi😃.
That's right 🍣 it's not rice but buckwheat noodles 😲 and there were also yuba rolls. Shizuoka has great fish and soba, but this is a rare dish 😁.
I bought a bottle of sake because I was attracted to Arabashiri😅.
I immediately opened the bottle. The aroma is slightly grain-like with a hint of sweetness and acidity. It is juicy and refreshing on the palate, and the acidity and slight bitterness in the aftertaste make it easy to drink.
It is easy to drink, but I would like to wait a little longer to taste the difference 🤔.
I had it with sashimi of tuna 🐟. I think I prefer it with a little more fat than red meat. Because the sake has a richer, more umami and mellower taste. Either way it's delicious 😋.
The second day after opening the bottle. It has a crisp taste due to a slight increase in acidity and bitterness, making it more suited for a mealtime drink. It's delicious in its own way 🤤.
