On a trip to the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. I wondered if the Kihei from Shizuoka was available here, but it was different. It is a little spicy. I think it goes better with meat than fish.

Kihei Junmai Ginjyo Nama Storage Sake with Hakuto Yeast
The rice used: 100% Omachi rice.
I was looking forward to this sake the most among the three bottles.
I like this one the best out of the three.
But my partner said he didn't like it because of its peculiar taste.
My partner prefers fruity sake, so it seems that there is a difference in the direction of this sake, and that there may be a difference in likes and dislikes.

The first bottle is a Junmai-shu [fresh-stored sake] with the same 100% Akebono rice.
The difference in rice polishing ratio is 5% and the difference in alcohol content is about 1 degree.

The mouthfeel is the same smooth and silky.
But the sweetness is stronger in Junmai sake.
If you want a refreshing drink, the Honjozo is probably the better choice.

But it turned out to be Kihei from Okayama...
