Slightly yellowish liquid color
Delicious aroma is very strong!
The first sip of the wine makes me sneeze because the aroma hits my nose so hard 😂.
The spiciness, sweetness, and umami come through with a bang!
Today is the day of the Niigata Chuetsu Earthquake, and I took it slow,
I was in the mood for some country sake.
Takanoi sake at room temperature to warmed sake.
Newspaper (Niigata Nippo) Maki
The taste is not flashy, but when heated up, it has an orthodox and authentic flavor.
I was attracted by the words "limited edition" and bought it.
It is a sake from Niigata, a rice-producing region, and there is no way it could be bad.
Slightly sweet and gentle, or something like that.
Easy to drink for me
I came here because I was told there was a stand-up sushi restaurant in Kanda that I had enjoyed in Niigata.
The first brand of sake, indeed, was light, dry, and easy to drink!
The regular price of 1800ml is 2200 yen.
I can buy a bottle of sake for 1540 yen (excluding service charge and tax) with just a little more!
Surprise🫢That's just how it is...
For the record
I noticed that there are 99 CIs in Niigata Prefecture and was wondering what to do next when I came across this 👀 at Ponshukan.
There are two breweries in Ojiya, Niigata Meisho (Chojamori, Echino Kanchubai, Taizen, N-888, etc.) and this Takanoi Brewery (Takanoi, Echino Hatsubai, Tatomo, Itano, etc.). All of these are relatively large breweries, but as far as I know, they have had Yamahai, but I don't think they have ever had Namahashi, a traditional sake brewery.
It has a pale yellow color like the label, and a faint pineapple-like aroma with a hint of sake yeast. When you drink it, it has a slightly fizzy, melon-like fruitiness, and the acidity of the sake is strongly asserted by the white yeast yeast.
The impression is that it is truly a light, dry sake from Niigata. It has enough freshness, but the taste is too light...
The other thing that caught my attention was that it is a very delicate sake. Depending on the temperature, I was concerned about the bran-like aroma 🤕.
I would recommend snow cold or maybe room temperature 🤔.
I said a lot of things, but I drank it all without trying to warm it up 😆.
Also, a side note 🐍.
I think it's a new sake, so it would have been cool if "Taka-noi" was "-neu"✨.
Good evening, Jurian 😃.
Congratulations on your 100 checkin in Niigata Prefecture 🎈㊗️
I know where you can buy Tatomo and Iyano from Takai Shuzo, but I've never seen this brand, but I'll look for it: ☺️
I have returned from my trip home.
I originally wanted to eat "hegisoba" in the countryside, but I was not able to, I thought, and boiled dried hegisoba noodles to eat.
The slight flavor of laver and the smoothness of the noodle were very pleasant.
I also wished I could have had ramen,
I also opened a bottle of the one-cup sake that "Katsuryu," a famous ramen restaurant in the countryside, had teamed up with Takai Sake Brewery.
I had drunk it once at a restaurant, but when I drank it again at home, I found it to have a robust flavor.
It is very crisp and tasty.
It tastes like it can be served with thick ramen noodles or meat, rather than with hegisoba (buckwheat noodles).
The second photo was taken five years ago when I went back to my hometown to visit "Katsuryu" and drank this one cup in the restaurant.
I drank it while eating the Kakuni (stewed cubes of meat) and chashu pork that came out on a separate plate, but did not fit in the bowl.
