It is dark.
And there is no data on the back label.
Well, let's drink it,
The spiciness and bitterness were immediately overwhelmed by the umami.
I paired it with bonito first,
The spiciness is a little bit subdued and the sake goes on drinking.
Alas, I drank almost half of it.
The second day was pork and daikon steamed with sake,
No good, they went too well together.
I usually take almost a week to enjoy the change in flavor, but I ended up drinking it all in two days.
And the beer?
The beer is KIRIN's Autumn Flavor, which I enjoyed last month.
I wondered if it tasted better because I poured it twice last month.
So this time, I topped it up once,
It tasted a little bitter, but it was as good as ever.
But it was still a delicious beer.
I should buy it in bulk before it runs out.
The sake we were served at my sister and her husband's house was brewed with sake rice grown at Murayama Sangyo High School 🍶 It was a delicious sake, light, dry and refreshing 😋 Perfect with steamed clams!
Sake purchased during a visit to the Rokkasen Sake Brewery in Yamagata Prefecture
I bought it because of the fresh and summery paper bag it was wrapped in.
It is said to be aged in storage for 6 months and made from 100% Yamagata rice (quoted by the brewery).
Rice polishing ratio: 60
Alcohol content: 16%.
Rice: 100% Yamagata Prefecture's Izuwasanbai
A little sourness at first? Or rather, you can feel a tangy taste on your tongue.
It is perfect to drink in summer,
Aroma like cucumber or watermelon and
It has a refreshing sweetness and clarity 🍉.
It tastes like water when it's cold,
I prefer to drink it when it's a little warmer to get the full flavor and aroma. 🙆🏻♀️
It's what we call a jack-in-the-box!
It's quite a gusher when you try it.
I was surprised to find out that it is a blended sake!
I knew it was deep...lol!
Extremely personal taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️3/5
Despite the white, fresh packaging, the attack is relatively strong.
It has a slight tingling sensation on the tongue that is not a gas, and the acidity and rice flavor spread to the palate at once, followed by a mellow aroma and sweetness.
The taste is sharp, and everything comes through sharply at the speed of a Guinness (if there was such a thing) 30-meter sprint.
The aftertaste is a little bit of greenish melon-flavored cotton candy. I don't mind it.
The feeling of being spread out and rushing through all at once is perfect for midsummer.
Since it is freshly bottled and stored in ice temperature (6 months), the goodness of the ginjo aroma is still there.
It will be interesting to see how it changes when it is refrigerated for a little while.

A classic sake that is close to the middle of the range, similar to Koshino-Kanbai.
To put it well, it is a drink that does not interfere with food.
However, it did not exceed my expectations from the visual and naming.
It's not bad.
However, hmmm...don't forget to thank the people who make it.
Thank you very much.
