Fukkai was rebranded by Fukuda in Nagasaki. I had previously tried Fukuda Bangaishu and gave it 3 stars, so I wasn't really attracted to it, but I was again attracted to a sake made with rice outside the same range, so I bought it. When I poured it into the chirori, it started bubbling and had a nice aroma like sweet candy. Unlike the image of the aroma, the sour-sweet flavor was subdued and the carbonation added a drier feel. The taste has a hint of Japanese pear, and while it is sharp, it does not have much richness or umami.

I opened the bottle and decided to drink it without thinking, and when I lifted the crown up with a quick "kuikui", the crown flew up to the ceiling with a nice sound 😅.
I got myself back on track and drank it 😊.
It's a little bit light and cloudy.
The aroma is refreshing and sweet, and it goes right into your nose.
Shuwa shuwa ☺️ powerful acidity comes in 😁.
The taste is nothing special to emphasize, and the grape (grape) juice-like flavor spread on the tongue in a wispy way.
Somehow in the aftertaste I think it is probably the taste of Yamada Nishiki rice. It slightly fills the mouth.
I served it with sashimi, and it went very well with it. Wasabi soy sauce is perfect 😋.

This is the first time I have had Fukkai. It is fresh with a weak fizziness. The label is emotional and uplifting. It is made with Yamadanishiki grown without pesticides in the company's own rice paddies, so you can imagine the time and effort that went into the production of this wine.

A lot has been going on at work 😩 Finally a Sunday drink post 🤗.
Last weekend we had our usual 😅J&N split into two groups and visited each other's parents' homes! And as usual, we met again on Sunday evening 😊The sake chosen for the celebration was our second bottle of Fukkai-san ‼️ this time sparkling 🎉.
Carefully opened the bottle and poured the bubbles 🫧 into a Riedel glass 😙 and expectations are high!
The aroma is a bit greefy, but once you take a sip, you'll be surprised how good it is 😋 Dry and crisp, sparkling is always good 😍.
I had a bottle of Fukuda-san's Yamadanishiki Active Light Nigorigo a few months ago and it was like an evolution of that 🤗.
Such was the story of Sunday's reunion...
Weekend Nobby went out ahead of us on Friday, and Jay was late and started on Saturday! I was supposed to check the note 📝, close the shutters, turn off the lights 💡, turn off the air conditioner and check ☝️... and then leave 🤔.
On my way home on Sunday, I had a bad feeling that I had forgotten something 😰 and I had to come home earlier than Nobby to check 💦, but Nobby, who was home 5 minutes earlier than me, told me that the air conditioner was on...😳It was on from Saturday noon to Sunday evening😱I was shocked and drooped! Jay was kindly told by Nobby, "It's good that the room is cooled down and you can have dinner right away 😉" 😭.

I bought this sake from Hirado, Nagasaki when I traveled to Kyushu in January!
The moment I opened the bottle, it made a nice sound! It sounded so good!
I opened the bottle six months after I bought it, and it was amazing that it had a perfect gassy feeling 😋.
The bouncing fizzy feeling is fun and very easy to drink!
A hint of sweetness
The flavor is soft.
The bitterness of grapefruit gives it a sharpness that I really like!
I drank the whole bottle in no time 🤣.
I first heard of Fukkai through a recommendation from a yakitori restaurant in Kumamoto!
After drinking it at the yakitori restaurant, I immediately went to the liquor store and bought two bottles to bring back to Taiwan!
