My wife won this "Kirin" in a lottery at the Co-op. We are enjoying autumn with a series of hiyaoroshi. It has been aged for a long time, and the delicious taste spreads in the mouth, and the climax of happiness comes.

Very appealing aroma. An elegant fruitiness of perhaps baked apple and grilled pineapple, prunes and dried fruits. Decent helping of rice, and a prominent nuttiness that lends an earthy side. Extremely light and fluffy on the palate. Almost disappears for a second, before coming back with some rice and fresh nuts. Finish is short and dry. Niigata style perhaps. Great aromas, but a little disappointed by the palate. May change my mind when it warms up a little. 3.5/5

I tasted it at a shop in Echigo Yuzawa station and bought it. The dry and refreshing sake is perfect for this season. We enjoyed it with sashimi and tempura.

Just right at room temperature. Delicious! 0610: I bought a set of Ginban, Hakuryu, Gen no Taki, Fuku Masamune and Kirin to compare. This is the impression when it is not so cold.
