Souvenir sake from a business trip to Aga Town🍶.
The nose has a very subtle yellow hue, a calm aroma full of umami, and a rich flavor with a mix of sourness and umami that spreads out from the first impression. The lingering taste is also slightly acidic and has a long aftertaste.
It's been quite a while since the autumn season has been on the shelves,
The lingering summer heat has suddenly turned into autumn, and hiyaoroshi (grated sake) is finally available!
This is the hiyaoroshi of Shimoetsu Shuzo's Kirin.
The name "Kirin" comes from "Kirin," one of the four spirit animals, and is said to be an omen of good things to come, or in other words, to appear at good omens. It is the spirit animal most closely associated with sake.
The aroma is mildly pear-like,
Mildly mellow on the tongue.
It has a crisp umami with acidity,
Matured and calm umami.
It has a mildly acidic and crisp flavor, and the matured, calm flavor can be felt in a relaxed manner.
Clear, light and dry, without any peculiarities.
Delicious!
