I tasted it at a shop in Echigo Yuzawa station and bought it. The dry and refreshing sake is perfect for this season. We enjoyed it with sashimi and tempura.

Just right at room temperature. Delicious! 0610: I bought a set of Ginban, Hakuryu, Gen no Taki, Fuku Masamune and Kirin to compare. This is the impression when it is not so cold.

It's dry and feels like sake. I like it. The feeling in the nose before it goes into the mouth is also good. It's delicious!

Fresh and lively on the nose. Ripe banana, melon attack first, followed by rice flour, acidic yoghurt, fresh cheese, and a grassy, mossy feel. Soft, clean and unimposing palate, yet gently soothing. Surprisingly nutty retronasal aromas of hazelnut, with clean, cereal flavours on the palate. Interesting astringency lingers past the kire finish. I like this, very drinkable at just under room temp. 3.75/5 Could be very good warm. Warm update: more nutty, bit drier and less impressive. 3.25/5

<Tamakiya (8-2)/8> Another one of the beef straw roast sake. This one is a secret sake that is aged for five years. This is not the kind of sake that goes along with the smoke, but on the contrary, it's the kind of sake that brings out the smokiness of the meat (*Omega*) It's like an old sake that's easy to drink.
