It's surprisingly tasty, but it goes down your throat without any tanginess.
It was so surprisingly delicious, yet it went down my throat so smoothly without any cloying taste at all!

What's more, I was able to open the bottle when I went out for a drink with a friend who happened to be impressed after drinking this sake with me the summer before last.
