KumakichiI love Kojo-nishiki, one of my favorite rice wine, so I always buy junmai-daiginjo and junmai-ginjo!
I have had many tasake, but this is one of my personal favorites!
It is as good as ever, and if I had a bottle, I would buy it without hesitation! KumakichiUpdate has been delayed due to heavy workload, so this is a summary update.
The first bottle is Kawanakajima Genmai Junmai Ginjo Aizan Unfiltered Nama-shu!
This is a bottle I drank last year and enjoyed it so much!
This year, I bought a bottle without hesitation!
It had the mellow sweetness and umami that is typical of Kawanakajima Genmai!
I finished it in 5 days, and it was a reward for my exhausted self..,

We purchase a full set of 4 bottles every year, but this year we purchased 2 bottles of our annual favorites due to refrigerator conflicts
New Sensation Koshihikari 90 Light nigori unfiltered unpasteurized sake
I have had several sake made from Koshihikari rice, but the Discovery series Koshihikari is my favorite!
Among the four bottles released at the same time, this Koshihikari is the first to be sold out, so it was an instant purchase!
That bottle was as sweet and delicious as ever! This year, it was not so much a bit bitter as it was a complete nigori, or a bit of a orizumi!
I enjoyed the rich rice flavor! KumakichiIt's been a while since I got this bottle at my favorite liquor store, so I opened it right away.
Kawanakajima Genmai Junmai Ginjyo Miyamanishiki
I loved this bottle because it had a very clean sake quality, but was also very drinkable!

Alcohol content: 16%. KumakichiI noticed the 1111 check-in* mark.
Since it was the first day of the month, we opened a bottle of Kangiku Leap Day, which we had stocked up on.
This is a very limited edition sake that is shipped on the leap year day that comes once every 4 years.
This special bottle is brewed with 29% polished Gohyakumangoku rice in honor of the leap year and tastes exquisite!
Despite the special specs, it is a great value at just under 2,500 yen!
Like a sweet-ripe grapefruit, it has a sweet and sour taste with a bitter aftertaste that is addictive!

Maruhi Momota Yamahai Junmai Daiginjo
My favorite sweet sake is Maruhi by Hiraizumi!
It's almost like a noble sake. I enjoyed the dense sweetness and moderate acidity!

Hoshikai is a junmai daiginjo of unfiltered unpasteurized sake brewed with comets
After opening the bottle, we could enjoy the shuwashu that is typical of the unfiltered, unpasteurized sake!
We compared it with Tasake's Comet, and this one had a sweet flavor that could be enjoyed immediately after opening the bottle.
It had the crispness that is typical of unfiltered undiluted sake, and it was very drinkable, so I could drink as much as I wanted!

Tasake Junmai Ginjo Comet
The red bottle of Comet is an annual must-have among Tasake's limited-edition sake.
The name and bottle design of the "Red Comet" is a heartwarming name and design for the Gundam generation.
The taste is a little hard? I had the impression that it was all sourness and sharpness without much sweetness and flavor, but it turned into something else on the third or fourth day!
The sweetness and flavorful expansion in the mouth is excellent, and when you drink it with a gulp, you will be very satisfied with the clean and crisp taste.

Kangiku Meikozo OCEAN99 Aomi
This is a junmai ginjo summer sake made from polished Dewa Sanzu.
It has a full-bodied sweet flavor, apple-like freshness, and a delicious acidity!

Alcohol content: 14%. KumakichiBuy Kangiku Meizou's favorite True White to be released in early summer.
Until last year, the "True Red" was released at the same time, but this year they are not releasing it!
True White is a Junmai Daiginjo made by polishing Omachi and I liked the balance of sweet and tasty with a refreshing acidity.

Alcohol content: 15%. KumakichiWhen I was patrolling my usual liquor store, I found Kawanakajima Genmai quietly lined up on the shelf, so I bought it!
I love Oumachi, Kinmonniki and Miyamanishiki among the Kawanakajima Gentmai! I immediately opened the bottle and found it to be a deep sweet-umami, typical of Kawanakajima Gentmai O Omachi!
It was not too sweet, but had a nice sharpness and a bitter aftertaste.

So, I bought this one, which I had been curious about for a long time but had not been able to buy yet.
Toyo Bijin Bessen Yamadanishiki
I have had many kinds of Toyo Bijin, but the sweet and tasty ones are the best!
However, this Bessen is unexpectedly priced at 1,320 yen including tax!
It is surprising that you can buy it at a convenience store or supermarket class price!
I opened it right away and found it to be a bottle with a refreshing acidity and sweet flavor!
It is very easy to drink, but the high cost makes it easy on the wallet!

Alcohol content: 15%. KumakichiThe fourth bottle of sake opened during GW was Silver Lining So no Mai 29 by Kangiku Meikozo.
This is a very extravagant yet highly affordable bottle of So-no-Mai polished to 29%!
As a lover of sweet and tasty sake, this is a must buy for me every time I buy this limited time sake from Kangiku!
It has a concentrated fruity aroma from the first sip, and when you take a sip, you can taste the sweetness, bitter flavor, and a fizzy, chiri-chiri-chiri feeling!

Tasake 40%5% Hyakuden Junmai Daiginjo
Not cosmetically pleasing at 945 yen per gouge, but its taste is superb!
It was a luxurious one-cup Junmai Daiginjo made with Hyakuda!

I want to take my time and nourish my energy, so I opened a bottle of this one that had been sitting in my stock since last year.
Kawanakajima Genmai drop collection
All of the Genmai Kawanakajima are delicious and to my liking, but this sophisticated one is only sold during this season, so I managed to secure it!
When we immediately opened the bottle, we were enchanted by its beautiful taste. It is a refreshing sweet taste like an adult melon cider!
Rice polishing ratio: 35% (Yamadanishiki)
Alcohol content: 16%. KumakichiI will have Kukai, Kangiku's OCEAN series, which reigns high on my personal list of the best cospa sake.
This is also a reasonably priced bottle, at around 1,500 yen for a four-pack, even amidst the rush to raise prices!
Even so, the fruity sweetness and flavor of the junmai ginjo specs were not to be missed!
