The annual sale of 4 bottles of Kangiku Meizou's Discovery Series at the same time.
We were able to compare 4 bottles again this year!
The third bottle was a Junmai Daiginjo light nigori unfiltered raw sake made from 80% Gohyakumangoku rice!
What is that? Is the remaining 20% the same Yamadanishiki as last year? I had my doubts, but I opened the bottle immediately!
Perhaps because it is Gohyakumangoku, it is even more refreshing than Koshihikari and So no Mai! I like the balance of refreshing acidity, a hint of sweetness, and a bitter aftertaste, making it a summery sake!
