Very neutral. No sweetness. No bite either. Almost malty, although not sweet. Nice rice flavour and alcohol flavor is prominent. It might not hold its own against strongly flavored dishes.

Pretty neutral. Much more flavor than the new mizunogotoshi, understandable due to the aging. Round mouth feel. Dry and some bite. Not fruity to my taste. Would I buy this again? Probably not attend USA prices.

I find it difficult to get decent sakes in the US and UK. The range is very limited.

Yes, it's hard and expensive. I order from True Sake in San Francisco. Or I drive to San Diego.

Very neutral. Not sure how to describe the flavor. With food it is somewhat invisible. Like some of the light Niigata sakes. A little tart with a small bite in the aftertaste. Yamada Nishiki rice, milled to 50%.

Very full nama flavor, moderately sweet and fruity. I was surprised at how well the strawberry flavor comes through. For me it would need to be paired with pretty strongly flavored dishes.
