This is the first time to drink this brewery. As the name suggests, it has a fruity aroma and is easy to drink with no unpleasant taste at all. It has a strong impression of melon nuance rather than apple. The character is a little weak, but it is like a Fukushima sake with a beautiful mouthfeel that goes well with Japanese food in general. We paired it with prawn and lotus root sandwiches, pickled eggplant, boiled motsu and salmon roe rice.

Plenty of flavor and a nice nuance of Shaoxing wine. At first I tried it with fish pickled in sake lees and miso, but they didn't go well with it. I tried it with leek liver and shrimp chili, and especially with leek liver, they complement each other wonderfully. I wonder if it's because it has a touch of Shaoxing wine? It has a deep...

speyside Nice to meet you🍀. I've been looking forward to seeing you here! I'm sure you'll be happy to know that I'm not the only one. I'm not sure what to make of it. I'll try it with Chinese food too🙆It's very helpful!

Rika, nice to meet you! Yes, it has a hint of Shaoxing wine. I'm not a big fan of sake with an aroma like Shaoxing wine, but this sake is well balanced and delicious. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.

The taste is stable and quintessential. The habit of Yamahai is suppressed, and the flavor is brewed more than usual with Hiyaoroshi. It goes well with all kinds of Japanese food, but the compatibility with Gin-dara (codfish) pickled in sake lees was amazing.

I'm sorry, but it tasted bad... 💧 I bought this at a reputable liquor store that kept it well refrigerated, and it was very disappointing, with a hint of bitterness and no flavor. I've had some good Hyakujuro, but more than once I've had a bad bottle like this one, and I get the impression that it's a brewery with a big range... To be honest, I'm too scared to buy any more... To be honest, I'm afraid to buy it again... It's a waste, so I'll use it as a cooking sake.

Good evening, speyside! I️ agree with you and thought I️ would comment~! I'm not sure what to make of it, but I'm sure it'll be great. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do that. I'm sorry to say that this is my first Hyakujuro.

Thank you for your comment, Yuka-chin! It's hard to write a negative review, but I wrote it as a reminder so that I don't forget and step on a minefield again 💦I guess the eyes go to the warehouse with the highest batting average (laughs).

I think the name was probably designed to go with Western food, but it went perfectly with the Thai poelee, ratatouille, and pumpkin salad. It has a gorgeous fragrance like flower honey and a strong flavor that can't be overpowered by Western food (on the other hand, Japanese food didn't go well with it at all because the sake's character was too strong). I don't know the specs, but it seems to be close to the taste of sake made with flower yeast.

It is mild and easy to drink for a Yamahai. It is well-balanced and delicious as standard. It goes well with Japanese food that is not too richly seasoned.
