Shinomine for the first time in a long time
Surprisingly few stores carry it, so I jumped at the chance!

Urasinomine was released this summer or fall. Just as I was about to go out and buy it, I was informed that it was sold out early. I was disappointed to learn that it would be released again in the winter. And they released clear sake and cloudy sake at the same time! It's like a musician releasing new songs at the same time!
I was wondering whether I should buy it or not, but in the end I did! I have a habit of choosing nigori-shu every time. I think that while the clear sake is very hit or miss, the muddy sake is often better on the lower end of the spectrum...lol!
The major difference between this sake and the usual Shinomine is the presence or absence of a fresh, apple-like fruitiness at the moment of consumption. It is full of such freshness as if you bit into a whole fruit. The bitterness in the latter half of the taste compounds with the acidity and makes it feel like grapefruit juice, which is surprising. It is frighteningly delicious...!
Although it is a floral type of wine, it is Shinomine. It is very calm and elegant. If I were to personify it, I can imagine a beautiful woman in a kimono with a gentle but strong core.
It is clear for a muddy sake, but it also has a complexity that is typical of muddy sake. In that sense, I think the clear version of this sake is probably quite clear. Without a doubt, the clear sake is also outstandingly delicious!

I told the waiter to leave it to me. He asked me if I wanted dry or sweet, and Robin said, "Medium! Robin asked him if he wanted dry or sweet, and what came out was Shinomine!
Personally, I don't drink Shinomine with the image of dry except for the Rokumaru series, so I thought it was a good opportunity 😁.
It has a strong umami flavor, but I personally find it quite dry.
I didn't know Omachi could have such a sharp finish.
Well, it's just as I expected 😅.
I wonder if it has a gassy feeling when it's freshly opened 🤔.
I had a neighbor who was drinking Heiwa Kraft, so we shared it and drank it together 🍺.
The pale ale was really good 😋.
It's been a while since I've had a craft beer, so I felt it was even better. I'll buy some and try it next time!
I felt Yoohee-san was a little black this year end party 😆 I wish he would take over for me 🤣.

I bought it at an old liquor store in Kansai,
I looked at the date of manufacture and it was June 2024.
It had a slight gassy feeling, was very mellow thanks to a year and a half of aging, had a robust flavor, and was very tasty as a result.
There is good fortune in leftovers, I guess.

Shinomine, which was drunk for the first time in Nara the other day, is now Kame-no-o. The rice polishing ratio is 70%.

The label is a series of rice field labels. vert is a French word meaning "green"?
Nara has two strong wines, Kaze no Mori and Mimuro Sugi, but Shinomine is also delicious ✨.

Behind this is lemon squash 🍋🍶.
This is sour, but just barely sour enough to be considered sake. The level of sourness is on the level of Senkyoku Black Label after the rebranding.
The aroma is a refreshing ginjo aroma mixed with sourness. The acidity and umami are mixed with a hint of bitter taste, and the fresh gasiness makes it a lemon or grapefruit sake. 😋😋😋😋
The sweetness is dry.
According to the Koyama Shoten pop-up, the rice used is Omachi.
When heated, it takes on a slightly sweet flavor and aroma that is also delicious. ☺️

It was light, not refreshing and had a bit of bitterness 😋.
I think I prefer the basic sake that is not raw, I always can't remember the taste of each individual sake when I make a drinking comparison 😅... 😅.
