🌾Rice from Hiroshima Prefecture 🅰️14 degrees 🍶±0
Purchased at the roadside station Saijo, Nonta's sake brewery. It is a representative of gentle sake. Sweet, tasty, no clinginess, and sometimes I want to drink it irresistibly.
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Purchased at a kiosk at Hiroshima station. This is the first paper type cup sake 🍶.
It is a cheering cup for Sanfrecce Hiroshima, and there are five different designs with cheering messages. If I had known that, I would have chosen one and bought it.
Both Carp and Sanfrecce are doing great this season😄.
Purchased at the sake brewery at Roadside Station Saijo's Nonta 🍶.
This was my first time to try quick-frozen sake, but it was so hot that it was completely thawed when I got home😅.
I wanted to drink it half-frozen, so it was a big mistake.

Comparison of 2 kinds of sake
Junmai Ginjo Hirokei Shu 44
The sweet aroma of rice is strong.
The sweetness is moderate, but it is present in the distance. It is good as a food sake.
Junmai Ginjo Hirokei Shu No. 45
The aroma is less intense than 44, but the taste is more ricey. The flavor can be felt firmly at once, so it is delicious as a stand-alone sake.
I recommend No. 44 because of its aroma and lingering taste.
A variant optimized for pairing with Momiji-manju, a Hiroshima souvenir, commercialized through a technology transfer from the prefecture's Food Industrial Technology Center🤩.
Momiji-manju is basically sweet, but this sake also has a strong sweetness. However, when served together, the sweetness of each is intertwined with each other, and the aftertaste is strangely refreshing!
There are many kinds of momiji manju these days, but it is said that the one that goes especially well with this sake is the standard grains or koshi-an (sweet bean paste) ☺️
Hi Dai, nice to meet you!
I didn't know there was such a thing as a sake for pairing with momiji buns 🍁🍶I'd love to pair it with a sweet and sugary one 😳I also like momiji buns, so if I come across it, I'd like to try it paired with them 😊✨.
Hi Kotaro 😃.
I too first saw this 🍶 at a roadside station in Saijo. I thought I was fooled and tried it and was surprised by the refreshing aftertaste 😆 Grain bean paste was easy to understand 😄. I was surprised at how refreshing the aftertaste was 😆 Grain bean paste was easy to understand 😄.
Moriguchi Keihan Department Store Sake Festival ⑬
The brewer will be happy if you read it correctly as Hakubutan 😁.
It's so good I drank a lot 🤣.
Hakubotan Junmai Daiginjo Yusei.
It is made from Hiroshima Hachitan. It is the parent of Hachitan Nishiki, which is officially called Hachitan No. 35. The price is about the same as Yamadanishiki. The label is inspired by the image of the torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine for the Hiroshima Summit and for inbound customers. It has a deep flavor and is delicious.
Shirobotan Junmai Daiginjo Reiwa No.1 Yeast
This is a yeast originally developed by Hiroshima Prefecture. It also uses white malted rice. It has an elegant acidity and a sweet flavor. It is also delicious.
Shirobotan Junmai Ginjo Chukkumi
It has a strong umami and is my favorite type.
Shirobotan Hiroshima Hachitan Ginjo-shu Nakakumi.
2021 yeast. It is dry with a lot of umami and a clean aftertaste.
Shirobotan Hiroshima Hachitan Junmai Daiginjo-Hara Sake
A summer sake from Hiroshima Hachitan. It has a mild umami.
Shirobotan Yamadanishiki Junmai-shu
A solid, orthodox Junmai-shu. You can drink it without getting tired of it.
Shirobotan Junmai Ginjo Koihana
It is 13% low alcohol, sweet and sour, and easy to drink like a juice.
Hakubotan Daiginjo
It is fruity, caproic acid type, and orthodox. It is very tasty.
Shirobotan Junmai Daiginjo Genshu, Mannenkura Touji Kashima Masashi
Made to order. It is very tasty and apt.
Keihan Department Store Sake Festival ⑬
Shirobotan, a sake with many of my personal favorite flavors.
I drank
Junmai Daiginjo with Reiwa No.1 yeast
As fruity and easy to drink as when we drank it before.
Junmai Daiginjo Yusei
Calm, fruity and refreshing. The label is of Itsukushima Shrine.
Junmai Ginjo Nakakumi
As before, gorgeous, clean, and fruity.
Hachitan Ginjo Nakakumi
It is said to be very dry, but perhaps because it is dry from a sweet brewery, it does not feel that dry and is easy to drink.
Hiroshima Hachitan Junmai Daiginjo Genshu
Gorgeous, but it's a summer sake, so it's refreshing.
Junmai Ginjo Koihana
Made with white malted rice. It was sweet and sour and delicious.
Junmai Ginjo
Slightly sweet, umami-guchi sake. The taste is good for a standard-class sake.
Daiginjo
Gorgeous and slightly spicy, but not at the +7 sake strength.
Junmai Daiginjo Genshu
Gorgeous, fruity, and sweet. Of course it's delicious!
Yamadanishiki Junmai Sake
Forgot to take a picture. I forgot I even drank it 🤣.
I keep saying something fruity 🤣.
We talked about the movie collaboration sake starring Rina Kawaei and the frozen sake. They told me where to find frozen sake but it was from a completely different brewery😅.
You can't find Shirobotan outside of department stores, but there are some liquor stores that can stock it through wholesalers.
Good evening, bouken. I was going to go drink Shirobotan, but I couldn't make it after all 😭I didn't know there was a Hiroshima 2021 yeast 🤔 Was there a lot of fruity variations? I wish I could have compared drinks 😋.
Hi Hirupeko, good evening 😃
I was wondering if you went to the White Peony since you said you wanted to go for a drink, too bad 😥.
I said fruity at random, but overall I liked the fact that all the drinks were gentle and not pungent 😊.
A gift from a friend who went to Saijo, Hiroshima on a sake brewery tour.
It has a sweetness that makes you want to "ooh" and "ahh" at the taste of sake.
I would like to take a look back on GW,
My grandfather passed away in Hiroshima, and I returned to Kanazawa today after the wake and funeral. ☘️
I am fortunate that when I went to see him during GW, I was prepared for the fact that it might be the last time.
I drank a bottle of White Peony, which grandpa loved, after the funeral to commemorate his passing 😎♥️
He really loved to drink and even drank this White Peony as soon as he woke up in the morning🤣.
I think my love for alcohol might be inherited from my grandpa! 🤣
I watched him from a very young age, so this was my image of sake 😎.
I had an image of sake as dry, but it was milder than I thought it would be! I'm not sure what to expect 🍶.
Junko. I pray for your grandfather's soul. I'm sure your grandfather must be very happy that his beloved granddaughter loves to drink. It's wonderful to have a brand with a memory.
Jun-san konban-ha!
I am so sorry for your loss 🙏.
No matter how prepared you are for it, it's always hard when it happens.
I'm sure your grandfather would be happy to send you off with his favorite drink.
Good morning, Jun 😃.
I wish you the best of luck with your grandfather 😌It was nice to meet you at the end 🙂.
We sometimes wake up in the morning and talk about drinking 🍶 but still no morning drink 🤔😅The strongest gene🧬 has taken over ☺️
Good evening, WOM, ☺️
Thank you very much ☺️ Every time I visit you, I bring some modern sake recommendations, but I like this one! I was drinking only White Peony 🤣.
Good evening Eirin, thank you for your ☺️ ☺️
As I grew older, we saw each other less often, but it's sad when you lose someone you took for granted 😢I'm sure they're drinking over there too 🥰.
Good evening Jay & Nobby, thank you for ☺️ ☺️
This and chikuwa were my daily routine in the morning...that's quite a liver you have to have to live to be 86 years old in good health🤣I wish I could be like that! LOL!
The area around JR Saijo Station is home to many sake breweries, including Kamotsuru. The Saijo Sake Festival held every fall is well known.
This time I had a small bottle.
The taste was soft and gentle, with a hint of sweetness from the rice.
It was a gentle sake with a soft taste and sweet rice flavor. It is said to be "Nada's men's sake" and "Hiroshima's women's sake," and it is just like that.
