Unfiltered unpasteurized sake
Sake rice: Hitanishiki
This is an Ibaraki sake bar located next to the Mito Station ticket gates!
This bar is a must-visit for sake freaks, offering inexpensive tastings of sake from 35 breweries in Ibaraki Prefecture!
There were many brands I didn't know about, so I was excited ⤴️⤴️
I wanted to start with Morishima, but they didn't have it, so I went with Morishima Shuzo's Fuji Daigan.
Although it is called "Souzake," it tastes like a refreshing sake, and it is delicious and refreshing.
Recently addicted to Ibaraki sake, purchased at Yamaya in Ibaraki.
Clear and refreshing, good rice flavor.
Reesbnal. Just as it says on the back label.
It has a firm rice aroma and is easy to drink with a slightly dry but elegant dryness. The bitterness lingers in the aftertaste and is enjoyable.
I have to be careful not to drink too much as I have to work again tomorrow, but the taste is so good that I can't stop.
This weekend, during my trip, I stopped by the brewery and bought some . In a word, I would describe it as "elegant sake." The aroma is banana at first, and when you take a closer sniff, it reminds me of green apples, with a slight sweetness and an underlying tanginess that seems to completely clear out in the aftertaste!
I wanted a weekend of good food and
I wanted a drink that wouldn't interfere with them.
Fuji Taikan by Morishima Sake Brewery
Obtained at a local supermarket
It's hard to comment further than that.
Let's get back to the sake we were drinking yesterday.
