Tonight, our first in the series, Aizu Otokoyama Kai from Fukushima Aizu ✨. First of all, the specs are 100% Fukunoka with Jungin polish and 16% alcohol. The aroma is clear with a hint of pineapple and a mojito-like flavor in the second half. The attack is soft and sweet just like the aroma, but soon the acidity and bitterness overtake it and it has a nice crisp finish 👍 It is perfect as a mealtime drink and is very easy to drink without feeling too much alcohol 😋.

Otokoyama Brewery is located in Aizumisato-cho, Onuma-gun, Fukushima Prefecture, which is different from Kaito Otokoyama. The brewery was dormant for a while, but has restarted again. It is a fresh, raw ogara-mi sake. It is slightly carbonated and tastes great with the bitterness of the oli.

This sake is named after Mr. Touji Inomata, who used to brew sake at Hiroki Shuzo and other breweries. This sake has a fresh, elegant sweetness and umami flavor. It is also interesting to note that the rice used for the premium rice is "Amanotsubu," which is edible rice.
