First sip. Is it a little hard to drink? And. But then the sweetness spreads in your mouth. It is delicious. I happened to find a delicious sake at a sake brewery in Nagatoro.
Nagatoro
Nagatoro is the name of a place in Saitama Prefecture, famous for its river rafting and shaved ice (🍧), and a scenic spot accessible as a day trip from the Tokyo metropolitan area.
I drank it for the first time in about 2 years, and the label has been designed with beauty in the margins. 👍
It was smart with a slight fizzy feeling, the impression of clean and sharp, but the taste came on. ❗️
This is still at a pretty good level, but if it goes one step further, it has the potential to enter the national popular sake category and I'm looking forward to it 😊.
As of now, as of April 6, 2024, here is my ranking of Saitama Prefecture sake,
Shinkame from Hasuda is exceptional. Yokozuna.
Hanyokko from Hanyu is a pineapple 🍍 juicy and wonderful sake, but it's hard to find the right snacks to go with it 😅.
For the third best, I suggest Kagamiyama from Kawagoe.
It is carefully crafted and high quality sake, but well balanced enough not to overflow.
Tenranzan (Igarashi) in Hanno is also good,
The modern sake challenge of Bunraku's brewery in Ageo is not to be missed.
Among these, the mellow and delicious sake that should not be missed is
Kameko-Kabishi in Kazo👍.
Other Saitama sake,
There are many other standard sake that can be called "Saitama dry sake" with sake-like characteristics,
I think that Saitama is a hidden sake brewery.
Good evening, Mr. Hiraccio😃.
I read with great interest your ranking of Saitama Prefecture's most recommended breweries😊.
Nagatoro kura has a lot of room to grow 😊I hope they do well as it is close to my birthplace 🍶.
I would like to conquer all the sake breweries in Saitama Prefecture at some point 😁.
Good evening, Aladdin😊.
The Saitama sake ranking was written while drunk😅.
Nagatorogura is quite an exciting brewery👍.
If you notice, it may become a national brand.
Good evening.
I liked Tenranzan too.
Personally, I became a Saitama dry sake fan!
I feel that the lineup of regular sake and honjozo sake is the strongest!
And it's inexpensive!
Haruei Chichi, Chichibu and Nagatoro are good👍.
Nagatoro has shaved ice, nature, and line rafting.
Chichibu has soba (buckwheat noodles), hormone (hormone), and Sambine shrine (⛩).
There is also local sake and hot springs. ♨️
A bottle that was recommended to me at a liquor store in Saitama and had been sleeping.
I bought this bottle using sake musashi for comparison with hana-yosu.
It has a strong or unique original sake taste!
Among the group I drank it with, we were divided into 8 (dislike):2 (preference).
It was a bottle that I would not buy by myself!
3.0/5
It was about 10 hours ago🔙 since the last time I had a one-person "big order" party.
On Sunday, I couldn't get up before noon for the first time in a while after finishing my work related to the Shinkansen opening, and when I woke up, a parcel arrived. I checked the invoice and found that Mr. Menshuoh had sent me oysters from Atsukishi.
I thought I'd coincide with the opening of the "big order" at night, but the wife had already thought about dinner for that night, so I had to wait until Monday 💦.
We started with freshly fried oysters and Akahoshi (red star) 🍺.
Then we had raw oysters and ajillo with the rest of the "big order", but it was not enough, so we opened this one and had a drink 🍶.
Nagatoro Junmai Ginjo
This was a gift from chiaki-san who visited the prefecture the other day.
[Thank you very much, chiaki-san!]
It has a clear, fresh flavor with a hint of sweetness and a refreshing aftertaste.
[Thin sipped sake.]
The sake has a slight sweetness and a cool aroma that passes through the nose as it goes down the throat, followed by a refreshing finish.
I wonder if the coolness is due to the good water 🤔.
Quite delicious 😋.
When paired with raw oysters, the aroma of the sea disappears and it accompanies the deliciousness of the oysters 😆.
Thanks to Mr. Menshuoh and Mr. chiaki!
Good evening, Gyve 😃.
I am very sorry for the delay in sending you oysters 🙇Nagatoro Nochi gave them to me to drink and they are delicious 😋I am glad I could collaborate with you and chiaki😊.
Good evening, Gyve 😃.
Delicious snacks and sake gift 😍and it's also good to match them 🤗first of all, fried oysters and red star 🍺 looks delicious 😋, then raw oysters🦪 and sake 🍶kkkkkkkk 🤤....irresistible 🤤.
Good morning, Jive 😃.
I love your collaboration with your sakéwa friends 🥰Oyster fries and raw oysters look delicious 🦪🤤🤤Cool looking drinks would go well with oysters... 😌.
Good evening, Pon 🌛.
I really appreciate you both 😁.
I'm ashamed to admit that all the cooking was done by my wife, who is an unparalleled oyster lover, with great joy 😋 I'm grateful to her as well ✨.
Good evening, Mr. King of Noodles and Sake 🌛.
Thank you for the really delicious [oysters from Atsugishi] 🙇.
I've received too many things from you, so I'll send you some gourmet food from Fukui so you can eat it 😁.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 🌛.
I had a nice standby red star while frying the oysters and chewed it while it was still hot 😋It was plenty large so they cooked it in many different ways 😁.
Purchased at Nagatorogura when touring.
They wrapped it with a cooling agent and were quite kind.
It has a crisp but fruity taste.
The aroma is light.
It has a delicious flavor and is very easy to drink.
The closer it gets to room temperature, the sweeter it tastes.
The aroma is sweet and alcoholic and refreshing.
The taste is sour and mildly sweet at first.
Delayed bitterness and alcohol.
Long aftertaste
A blend of arabashi and blame
100% Sake Musashi produced in Saitama Prefecture
Rice polishing ratio: 60
Alc.15% alcohol
This is the sake I got from Nocchi 🍶.
Hmmm, I wonder how to read it 🤔It's Nagatoro, isn't it? There's a Nagatoro-cho ❗
I'm so impressed by this sake I've never seen before 😂.
Thank you, Nochi 🙇.
Oh, I like the sharp taste with a soft sweetness and a lingering aftertaste 🙇 ✌️
This is another delicious sake 🎵I'll be a repeat customer when I find it ❗
I heard it's a revived brewery, I'm glad it's back because it's a delicious sake 😊.
Good evening, Mr. Menshuoh 😃.
Nagatoro is located in Chichibu, the westernmost part of Saitama Prefecture, on the border with Yamanashi and Gunma Prefectures. Nagatoro is a mountain stream area with the headwaters of the Arakawa River and is a leisure spot where you can go line rafting!
It is a nice place, so please visit if you have a chance!
