The King of the Night Ryusei
Special Junmai Sake
Polishing ratio 60
Toji : Masao Fujii
Fujii Sake Brewery
Takehara City, Hiroshima Prefecture
Slightly sweet! The mouthfeel is rather thick and lingering. But once swallowed, it's not that persistent. It smolders hotly in the bottom of your stomach.
I remember having enjoyed it before, so I bought it on a trip to Hiroshima. It has no outstanding characteristics, but when warmed to lukewarm, it brings out the best in the snacks. It does not have as much flavor as its grandiose name, but it is very good!
Purchased at a nearby Kakuyas, it had a Western-style atmosphere, so I bought it to try it out.
I thought it would be dry or strong because of its high alcohol content, but it had a sweet melon-like taste and a moderate acidity that lingered on the palate. I guess it's a fashionable sake 😅.
I like it on the rocks because of the high alcohol content 🤤.
At the Dawn of the Young
The Emperor of the Night is something I don't usually drink at all, but I thought this was a sweet, slightly tangy drink!
I think they said it was an event only sake.
It was served cold. 100% Yamadanishiki
Spicy. Something like straight shochu.
It works! I feel like I got a heavy punch!
That's my first impression.
I don't like it.
But it's okay. You can drink as much as you want. At a self-pouring restaurant.
Because I was pouring a little.
Thanks for the treat.
Yoru no Teio daybreak Yamadanishiki 60
13% low alcohol
Recommended as a food sake.
It has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, and it certainly goes well with food, and it goes everywhere with gubigubi.
It is delicious on its own, and the taste will change as the alcohol level increases.
I want to drink it again.
Choose a name that is a story-like name.
It's spicy, the rice is plump, and the sweetness and umami are bouffant.
Masculine feeling, spicy and alcoholic but at the same time crisp and tight.
Apple-like acidity.
Lingering rice flavor.
It neutralizes the fat of the sashimi well.
Seared swordfish is very precious.
It is also good with sushi as it has a strong rice flavor.
It is really interesting to order a lot of food when you have reinforcements.
