A unique sake with a large range of taste: the sweetness of amazake, the sweet and sour taste of lactic acid bacteria, and the dryness that gives the sake a dry taste.
The second bottle was given to me, Toyo no Ume summer sake: 🏝️
This sake has a subtle fruity taste with a delicious bitterness.
It has a sharpness that is typical of Tosa's local sake, making it the perfect food sake for this season. 🙆♂️
I almost forgot to raise it!
Fruity and refreshing aroma of rummy, with a lemon-like acidity.
Clear mouthfeel.
The rice is dry and delicious.
The impression is elegant and orthodox.
The aftertaste is refreshing.
Good as a food sake.
It must go well with light food.
Preference 4/5
Maruyu
Event.
Sake Fair 2024.
This sake was my priority 🍶.
Why I didn't come first is a mystery to me😅.
I must have been overwhelmed by the atmosphere of the venue💦.
Sake.
Color is clear.
Taste is light sweetness. Sweetness close to pear🍐.
A mellow aroma that spreads.
The finish is delicate, as if it will disappear.
Gently sweet and fragile, it is a sake with a sense of care throughout 🍶.
No wonder it won the Gold Award 🏅✨.
LUNCH DRINK - NIGHT DRINK
With Mr. Higu
Toyo no Ume
I was a bit nervous about this sake because of the words on the label and the fact that it was from Kochi.
I was a bit nervous about it,
Fresh and refreshing.
It tastes surprisingly modern.
The master recommended this sake, saying that Mashidaya went all the way to Kochi to buy it!
This! A true and delicious ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡!

As soon as we moved to the booth, we found Mr. Kazuho Takagi, the young sixth generation brewery master of Toyonoume.
I told him that I had seen him at the Matsuo Taisha Sake-1 Grand Prix, and he immediately picked up on the fact that bouken-san is good friends with Kishiwada's Tomegawa-san, and said that the sixth generation had also done an event for him the other day.
The tasting consisted of two types of junmai ginjo, a summer jungin and a standard junmai ginjo, and the others were sold out. Two replenishments arrived on the way.
Toyonoume Tosa Summer Jungin.
Melon-like aroma at first, followed by a persistent taste. It has a clear and elegant sweet aftertaste. It has a bitter taste, which gives it a summery flavor. It is said to go well with ayu fish.
Toyonoume Junmai Ginjo Gin no Yume
A standard sake with 50% polishing. It is fermented at low temperature and has an apple aroma. It has a sweet taste with a bitter aftertaste. It is said that Gin-no-Yume is easy to produce bitterness. It has a good balance of sweetness and bitterness.
Tosa Kinzo Special Junmai
Lychee-like aroma and acidity, with a tangy aftertaste.
Tasted while listening to the story about deep sea space yeast.
Toyonoume Junmai Ginjyo Ito Nokashi
It is made with CEL-24 and has a fruity, pineapple and citrus taste, but no bitterness.
We continued tasting other sakes and listening to the brewery's story...

Mr. Kazuho Takagi, the head brewer of Toyonoume, visited us.
Tasting while listening to Mr. Kazuho's explanation.
He is the same age (or was it the same school year?) as the third generation of Kishiwada's Crazy Salad House. Mr. Takagi is a brewer of the same age as the third generation of Kishiwada's crazy salad house.
We drank
Tosa Summer Jungin
It has an apple-like flavor and a summery feel to it, but it's not too thin and it's very drinkable.
Junmai Ginjo Gin no Yume
Fruity and gentle flavor. It's amazing that this is positioned as a standard sake.
Tosa Kinzo Special Junmai
Tosa Kinzo Special Junmai uses deep-sea yeast. The rice is Tosa Rei. It has a lychee-like flavor and is also sweet and delicious.
Junmai Ginjo Ito no okashi
CEL-24 is used. This is the first time for me to try it with fire-roasted sake.
Kameizumi is very heavy, but this sweet and fruity is just right. The balance is exquisite.
All of them were delicious, and I have to go back to the Salad Pavilion for the raw sake 🤔.
I had to drink other sake from other breweries while Ippo-san explained them to me 😳 to be continued....
Good morning, bouken 😃.
This event is a great success!
I also went to Hanshin department store this weekend and watched it from a distance 😅.
Takagi Kazuho, I was wondering if I should go because I failed to take a picture the other day, but I gave up because of the number of people 😔.
Good evening, Mr. Aladdin.
It was just after the opening, so there were not many people, but by the time we left the venue, the place was packed 😊.
I think I'll replace the photo of Ispo with the one taken by Nemuchi because it's more beautiful 🤔...
