This is a limited edition junmai sake that has been selected from storage tanks that have been allowed to mature over a summer in a sake tasting called "nemikiri (drinking through)" to preserve its flavor in the bottle. The brewery's message is that they want their sake to be enjoyed with the flavors of autumn and winter.
It is a seasonal sake brewed by Miyai-Sakura.
In preparation for the upcoming season, I bought a copy of Nonbei Yokocho, which I also saw at Sake no Wa ✨.
We also bought a cup of sake at a nearby liquor store to check the operation and had it hot ✨.
Sipped at room temperature, it is a refreshingly spicy sake with a deliciously mellow flavor.
Warmed to lukewarm, it has a tingling sensation on the tongue.
Hot-warming lightens the taste and makes it refreshing to drink!
I have had hot sake before, but I was indifferent to the brand and taste and drank it with the mindset that the alcohol would not linger the next day, so I would like to taste it this year 🥰.
Good evening to you too, ichiro18!
I'm sure you're having a lot of fun expanding your drinking horizons 🎵.
I had another one a while ago, but I should have warmed it up to lukewarm 😋.
Thank you too, ma-ki-😊I'm still excited about heated sake as it's almost uncharted territory 😍You drank a panda junmai sake with a bamboo branch on it! I'm sure the junmai lukewarm sake will be delicious too♪
Good evening, ichiro18 😃.
I bought one myself after learning about it on Sake no Wawa ❗️ I can compare heated and cold sake at home without hesitation, so it's a new fun addition to my sake activities 😁.
I look forward to seeing your heated sake posts 😆.
Good morning, Hiro 😃
I see that you also purchased it, Hiro! Then I was right to buy it too 🥰I will have more choices and I will try many things 😊Thank you 😊.
Good evening, ichiro18 😃.
Oh! You got the Nobee Yokocho ‼️
We use it too and enjoy the heated sake 🍶world 🤗When it gets too light 🍶 it floats when it gets low 😅Be careful 😆.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby!
I see that it is light and floats! I'm trying to figure out what to do with the chirori and the tokkuri 😁 I guess the weight is important too 😉.
The 21st sake brewery in Gifu Prefecture.
This is the main brand of Miyozakura Brewery in Minokamo City.
Purchased at a supercenter in Seki City.
The aroma is citrus-like and refreshing.
The initial sourness is also close to that of citrus fruits. The sweetness is moderate, but the acidity combined with a weak astringency gives it a refreshing aftertaste.
