Today is the annual New Year's Day visit to Kawagoe Naritasan Naritasan, and then to celebrate the golden wedding of my wife's parents. Dinner. Gonda Sake Brewery, a local sake brewery, had a stall at the Industrial Festival. When I ordered a bottle of "Nama-shu" (fresh sake), this was recommended to me! I ordered this one and was recommended this one. It was bottled the day before I bought it, so it was really fresh sake. It was crisp, with a hint of sourness and a heavy, thick texture. A short trip from today's destination... To Watarase Valley. Because it is the time of year when daylight is long, we can see the scenery even at this time of day. Thank goodness for that. It's a cup of sake, but it's a nice sake that doesn't have any unpleasant taste even if you drink it in one gulp. Since we had long seats, we couldn't spend much time sipping the sake, so we just drank it quickly. Next time, I would like to drink it slowly while taking in the wind on the trolley train.
