It was the first time in three years that the brewery opened its doors to the public, and this is the sake that I held in my hand. I did not just get it. It was a 1,000 yen gacha, a specialty of the kurabiraki festival. As you can see in the second photo, the first prize was a 300ml new sake in a 1 ton barrel, even the lowest one. And I won the 6th prize, Junmai Daiginjo, lucky me. 😀 ...
It tastes dry and is a refreshing food sake. I drank it with grilled pork with ginger and it was the best match. 💓
Gifu Prefecture, Gifu Prefecture
Chiyogiku Sake Brewery in Hashima City, Gifu Prefecture
Obtained at the brewery's "kurabiraki" event.
However, my wife bought it.
Details are unknown.
Is it some kind of sake? Or something like that?
Junmai? Junmai Ginjo?
The green one
Clear on the palate
Aroma: Rich ginjo aroma
Melon-like aroma
I couldn't help but say "wow"!
I don't know the details, but it must be high in alcohol content.
I think it's a raw sake.
The brown one.
More refreshing on the palate.
A hint of grain in the nose.
The aftertaste is also refreshing.
Good sake that does not disturb meals
First hiya oroshi
Soft and sweet aroma
Mild on the palate
Very easy to drink!
Is it because it is hiya oroshi?
or is it just a coincidence that this sake is so?
I would like to drink various hiyaoroshi for a while
I would like to drink various hiyaoroshi for a while to find out.
This sake is from Gifu.
Maybe it was stored in the wrong place or originally, it feels more like a junmai sake than a daiginjo.
It is a dry and delicious sake.
It costs only a little over 200 yen at Yamaya, but it is very drinkable and has a great price/quality ratio.
It is light but has a distinct sweetness and a ripe flavor.
When heated up, it becomes more intense.
I prefer it hot.
The flavor is even more pronounced if you drink it with a topping.
I drank it with yam and it went very well with it.
Mr. Ota is in Ogikubo
The owner is a very strong man, and the ingredients are also very good!
The next restaurant is also a great place with a strong focus on sake!
I don't know much about Ogikubo, but it is wonderful!
Shinjo-san, every time❗️
There are many attractive towns along the Chuo line including Ogikubo, but I've never been there for a drink 😅.
Kunitachi and Nakano maybe...
Every time! Mr. Haruei Chichi!
I haven't had a chance to visit those areas at all, and I haven't been around Tokyo since I learned about sake, so I need to study up!
I'll have to learn more about it!
The rice is organically grown and called Omachi, which tends to produce a strong sweetness.
When you take a sip, you can feel the rich aroma of fruit, apple, pineapple, and rice. I could feel the sweetness of the rice. The sweetness is firm and full. But it also has a nice crisp finish. It's a high level of perfection. I can't say that the taste is secondary to the fact that it is organic.
I enjoyed it with boiled spinach and grilled mackerel. This is the kind of sake that gently accompanies you at your daily table and makes you feel happy every day. It's a well-balanced sake, which is why it fits so well.
