A sake I had a while ago. I bought this bottle when I visited the Ninjutsu Village in Koga. It was my first brand from my first brewery. The aroma is fresh and fruity. In the mouth, it has a fresh acidity and a delicious sweetness. I didn't feel much fizz. The aroma lingers in the mouth. The aroma is more muscat-like. It is a little heavy, but refreshing. Bitterness appears from the mid-palate. The aftertaste is rather long. It has a freshness and liveliness that is typical of unfiltered, unpasteurized sake. It has a robust flavor, aroma, and freshness. I think I prefer to drink it by itself. Much tastier sake than I had imagined. I am very happy to have such an encounter on a trip. Degree of liking 87 points

I visited the Takeuchi Sake Brewery while feeling dizzy from climbing the mountain. I came down from the mountain just looking forward to it, thinking that since it is a sake brewery, I would be able to sample some of their products. But I was told, "We don't do tastings except when the brewery is open. But I was told that "we don't have sake tasting except for the first day of the brewery opening". Disappointing... Since we had come all the way to the brewery I asked for a sake that I could only buy here. I asked for a sake that I could only buy here, and this is what I was served. The umami is so powerful! It was as if I was drinking a solid block of sake flavor. The rice flavor comes through and lingers for a long time. This is my favorite type! I wonder if it is only available in March, as it is the last pressing. I want to repeat it next year.

I bought this at the Shiga 4-sha Joint Sake Brewery Fair I went to the other day. Takeuchi Sake Brewery had 8 free tastings, and this was the 5th sake. I bought it because it was so tasty with a rich flavor and a good taste in the mouth. I bought it because it had a rich flavor and was very drinkable after just a small sip. Anyway, WW is very strong. So, I decided to research what kind of food would go well with it, so today's dinner was Braised flounder Konnyaku with miso paste of konnyaku and butterbur sprouts (Teppai is a local Kyoto term for squid and leeks, so I guess it's generally used with nuta.) Soy milk and bonito tofu with bonito sauce and bonito sauce sprinkled with bonito sauce and bonito sauce Vinegared cucumber and wakame seaweed stems. In the end, the sake alone was so strong that I didn't need the dishes, but the Alc20 was too strong for me, and I was soon too exhausted to pair it with the food (- ▽ -;).

Where to buy] Takeuchi Shuzo Net Shop The accompaniment is the snack set which I bought at "Ekibenya Matsuri" in Tokyo station. It is said that they serve sake that is ready to drink but can't be shipped. From the aroma, I imagined it would be dry, but it wasn't unpleasantly spicy, more like a dry white wine. It's not sweet, but it has a good taste of rice. It's not too sweet but it has a good rice flavor. Rating: A

It's also delicious and high quality. I think I bought it as a trial bottle at a roadside station in Shiga, but I should have bought a large 4-pack or something. It's a good, easy drinking sake.
