National Sake Festival at Yodobashi Camera Umeda
I went there lightly while taking a walk along the Yodogawa River
Kunimare is very rare and precious!
I had to buy it because it was recommended by our Mr. Yu Darvish, so I tried several kinds of sake.
Special Junmai
The explanation was that the water was soft and the taste was soft, but it had a strong and clear flavor!
It is often drunk at sushi restaurants because it goes well with sushi!
Ginpu Junmai
It has a good sharpness, but the umami is also strong.
I guess it is more light than ↑.
It is also delicious!
Hokkaido limited edition Junmai Ginjo
According to the brewer, the aroma is not so strong.
It was light and tasty with a firm texture.
I bought both the Kasen and the cup with different rice, as they are said to be the most suitable for hot sake!
Hello Shinjo-san 😃
I went there yesterday evening but I couldn't get close to the Kunimare booth because of the crowd and had to give up the tasting 😅.
I only tasted and bought a bottle of Kabishin Honjozo and went home 🙄.
A friend of mine gave it to me because he doesn't drink it anymore.
It was over a year old when it was made.
I checked the label and found that it was before the current label.
At room temperature
The aroma is subdued with a hint of dairy products.
The taste is light and rather mellow.
Not that heavy.
The aftertaste is sharp and clean, but there is a slight lingering aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is quite light, but leaves a lot of aftertaste.
At first I thought it was similar to Niigata sake, but the aftertaste is completely different. But the aftertaste is totally different.
Interesting.
