This is the most standard label Junmai Dry Taste of Abe-kan. However, I like this one the best.
As the name suggests, the dry taste is so refreshingly light that it is hard to believe it is junmai sake. It is a perfect partner for fish dishes.
Come to think of it, my first encounter with this sake was at a famous sushi restaurant in Sendai, where it was recommended to me.
Since then, I have been in love with it so much that I go to the neighboring prefecture every month to buy it and make it my regular sake!

Too much of an impact
I was not impressed with the taste 😅...
A label with impact!
With its mild and gentle flavor and modest, elegant ginjo aroma, this sake is a perfect match for autumn foods.

Good balance! Good rice feeling!
It seems to be a collaboration with Urakasumi. The name "A-Un" comes from "Abe-kan" and "Un" from Urakasumi, which means "the breath of A-Un".
Next time, it will be "A-Un"!
Junmai Ginjo-shu made from Kame-no-o, one of the three major varieties of sake rice in Japan.
Kame-no-o, a fantastic sake rice, is the result of an accidental mutation, and was cultivated from three ears of rice that did not fall over and bore good fruit among the rice plants that were not fruiting well.
Abe-kan Kame-no-o Junmai Ginjo is an example of a sake made from Kame-no-o that is made "just like" Kame-no-o. This is Abe-kan Kame-no-o Junmai Ginjo.
It is a perfect match for fish dishes.
It has a strong flavor and a hint of sweetness. I peeled off the "OPEN" label at the edge of the label and found not a "hit" but an owl. These two birds are said to be symbolic of the wish to "catch" good omens. 😃Works by a local artist.
