Visit to the brewery.
Upon entering the reception area, there is a large store and this time I took home a bottle of Junmai sake.
It comes in like water at first, but by the time it goes down your throat, the darker flavor comes.
Dry sake with a full flavor of rice. It has a clean aftertaste. Only the sweetness of rice, typical of junmai, remains.
A perfect food sake.
I opened it in the hot, hot summer and would not want to drink it heated, but it is perfectly suited for warming up. It is definitely delicious in the cold of winter when it is lukewarm and served with simmered dishes.
Personally, I think lukewarm is better than hot.
Cold 3.5
Lukewarm 4.5 for reference
At the Nakano BC booth, "Kinokuniya Bunzaemon" nigori and "Chokyu" daiginjo.
I asked the brewer, "Do you have any Cho-Cho-Kyu that you have had in the past?" I asked the brewer, "Do you have any Cho-Cho-Kyu?
They don't make it anymore💦.
The nigori has a lactic acid taste that makes it easy to drink, while the daiginjo has a clean, crisp mouthfeel.
Since I have visited the brewery before, I felt a sense of familiarity with them and talked with them 😁.
My son's souvenir. The clerk said it was his favorite. It is unfortunate that there is no raw sake feeling in this kind of sake, but it is a great job to make it crispy, no amazake-like taste. Too bad it didn't get around much.
