Dry sake with a full flavor of rice. It has a clean aftertaste. Only the sweetness of rice, typical of junmai, remains.
A perfect food sake.
I opened it in the hot, hot summer and would not want to drink it heated, but it is perfectly suited for warming up. It is definitely delicious in the cold of winter when it is lukewarm and served with simmered dishes.
Personally, I think lukewarm is better than hot.
